Perry, John and the crew are the best! Service with a smile is an understatement from this incredible food truck team. The OG, Tonkatsu, the fries… I’m drooling now just writing this. I was lucky enough to find this truck parked across the street from my work one day and I was attracted to the Mario kart themed design, little did I know they were going to introduce me to some of the best food in Charlotte.

Went to brewery for couple beers going to MLS game at stadium , the pork sandwich was awesome! Wow that sandwiches ! Food truck outside brewery well worth the price

Waited for these guys to open, and was first in line, this past weekend at the 4/20 festival; what a great decision! I ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and potato salad and all I can say is Wow! Served on thick Texas toast with cabbage and spicy mayo, the chicken was crispy, moist, and perfectly bright white throughout. It was amazing! The breading never shed from the chicken and each bite was equally crunchy and delicious. The potato salad was an excellent accompaniment for the fried chicken sandwich. Creamy and cool, this potato salad features cucumber and I’m pretty sure I tasted bacon in there.
The service was quick, friendly, and accurate; really got a comfortable feeling about this food truck. I know there are a lot of really great trucks to grab a bite in Charlotte, but the Katsu Kart is a must visit!

The chicken katsu sandwiches are very good. The crispiness on the chicken and the soft bread are a winning combination. My only critique is they come with more mayo than I would like. Wish there was a way to ask for less on the online ordering.
