Best food truck in existence. Get the pork chop sandwich, get the chicken tenders, hot dog, fries, anything on the menu is good. And they rotate items that are amazing too. So good.

SO GOOD! Veggie tempura sandwich was next level.

The chicken katsu sandwiches are very good. The crispiness on the chicken and the soft bread are a winning combination. My only critique is they come with more mayo than I would like. Wish there was a way to ask for less on the online ordering.

I finally was able to try this place! I found it at the Matthews farmers market. I was surprised to find that they had a few options for breakfast. I opted for a $5 chicken biscuit because I knew I wanted to try the OG. The biscuit was small but great to hold me over. It was coated in a slightly spicy honey. The sandwich was the best part by far. The bread had a great texture and the sauce was killer. I def recommend. For a food truck with quick service, the wait time was only 5 minutes. They weren't super busy- it was only 10am. It was also right beside a coffee truck so I had no problem waiting and getting something warm to drink. I am looking forward to trying some other sandwiches!
In my opinion I feel like this place is underrated, the way the food is unequivocally bussin is out of this world. There should be a line going down the street waiting for this. I hope more people find out about this place and gives it the recognition it deserves.
Had 2 sandwiches (Sando), both were very good. The OG and Karai. Both were fried chicken and cooked very well. Paid $28 for 2 sandwiches, no sides or drink?

WARNING: Katsu Kart does not take your order in-person. Instead, you must order via your phone. Then, when you go to checkout, they automatically add a 20% tip. You have to manually change it. I think the fact that they do this is pretty shady and unreasonable. In fact, I imagine a good number of people are probably tricked into tipping. AND it's shocking that they expect a 20% tip when no one is taking your order or serving you. All orders are to-go because Katsu Kart is a food truck. Perhaps I'm overreacting? I don't know. These sandwiches aren't cheap either. The OG is $13 and the Tonkatsu is $14. So, how are the sandwiches? They're a solid 4 stars. The bread was really soft and milky. The seasoned cabbage was quite tasty. And the chicken katsu was moist. The pork katsu, however, was on the more dry side. Will I be back? I'm not quite sure. They do have a really cute truck though!
