This is a hidden gem in Charlotte. Although technically in Dilworth, it’s close to South End and it’s the best sushi I’ve had in Charlotte so far. Somehow it’s never packed and you can walk right in on a Saturday night with no wait, which is shocking considering how good the food is. We got the crispy rice with spicy tuna, hadouken roll, edamame, and chicken/shrimp hibachi and everything was amazing. Very fast and great service as well. Highly recommend this spot if you...

I discovered Konnichiwa Japanese Restaurant online while searching for ramen and decided to give it a try since it consistently popped up in my search. While the restaurant does have ramen on the menu, I was a bit disappointed to find there’s only one ramen dish available, as this was the main reason for my visit. With that said, I decided to explore other options on the menu.

I have had sushi all over. Fancy restaurants in LA and NYC. I did not expect much from a sushi place in Charlotte, and I have never been so wrong before.
Konnichiwa is by far and away the best sushi I have ever had. The fish is so fresh. Me and my girlfriend split the $100 platter, and it was simply amazing. So much food, all of it was of the highest quality. 10 out of 10. We are only in town for 3 days, but we are going to eat here at least once more before...
