As a Korean from the West coast, I can say with utmost certainty that this is the best Korean food you can get in Charlotte. Kimchi is always fresh and has amazing flavor, perfectly balanced and has a nice kick all kimchi should have. I grew up going to hole in the wall Korean restaurants with my 할머니 and the Dduk Mandu Guk is the closest I get to being back there. Nice proportions fitting of a Korean restaurant, and trust me you will be wanting to have more despite being so full you’re ready to explode. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

I love this little hidden gem. The only place I've found that makes the most amazing and authentic Jajangmyeon, my favorite dish in the world 🥰🥰🥰
ABSOLUTE BANGER!!!
man, the food is amazing, authentic and reasonably priced.
Charlotte is definitely lacking in the Korean food department overall but this place is as close to authentic as you’ll get.
The restaurant is inside a grocery store with other food stalls near by so you have plenty of options.
The bakery nearby is a musttttt the sesame balls were delicious!! Though I wouldn’t recommend the dim sum form the restaurant in the middle… but their banhmi were really good.
TAKE MY WORD!! This food court is so much better than the one in Pineville’s super g mart.

My daughter loves their food, especially the beef bulgogi and hotpot! The last time we ate there the elderly Korean woman working there came out to our table and spoke to us for a while. She was so kind and went out of her way to bag up everything for us.

Probably the best authentic Korean dishes in Charlotte, cooked to perfection with exceptional flavor. Looks can be deceiving- it’s small and hidden in the back of a busy Asian market, but you won’t be finding Korean cuisine as good as this in a fancier place. The service is friendly and speedy, sometimes we’re even offered an extra bowl of kimchi to enjoy. I can’t describe the experience here enthusiastically enough!

Hate that I loved it. Very expensive bulgogi ($18) especially from a grocery store strip mall. I left disappointed that I splurged so much for a random quick meal. Was ready to beat myself up over it.
But.
Got home, opened it up, and the best bulgogi I’ve ever had. And I’ve had bulgogi from at least a few dozen places throughout the US. Beautifully done, perfectly seasoned, minimally oily, just fresh as can be. Left me so happy that the price was ACTUALLY well worth it. I’ll be coming back again and again, but from here on out I’ll have more faith that despite my initial expectations, I’m really paying for exceptionally well prepared food
If the restaurant reads this, please never lower your standards. It’s so refreshing to find someone taking pride in their meals and doing it so beautifully

I enjoyed the Bulgogi dish at SuperG mart but faced poor customer service due to a miscommunication leading to the wrong order, including an ingredient I’m allergic to. Despite offering to pay, the owner was rude and initially unwilling to correct the mistake. I was very disappointed and won't return.I’m advising others to be cautious when ordering.

It’s a bit of a drive for me but I make it just to get my fix of Korean food. I usually order the bibimbap but I’ve also had the bulgogi. Husband enjoys the japchae noodles. Service is always it quick. It’s inside the Super G Mart so the atmosphere is a little hurried and noisy.
