You want to know why you’re slipping? I swung by for jelly‑filled doughnuts and every single one had...maybe....a sad little teaspoon of filling. I remember when the jelly used to announce itself from the outside, that glorious dark spot promising an actual flavor. Now I’m basically biting into sweet, empty bread and playing “Where’s Waldo?” with the filling.
Your quality has tanked, your prices keep climbing, and the math isn’t mathing. Nobody wants to pay premium prices for budget‑level doughnuts. If I wanted something dry, hollow, and disappointing, I’d just go to Dunkin.

Had an unfortunate experience with the drive through worker. It was a younger person around 6:55pm on 12/30/25. I didn’t appreciate how I was treated as a customer.

Hi, I’m submitting a complaint regarding my recent experience at the Krispy Kreme located on Pineville-Matthews Road in Charlotte, NC.
I placed an order through the Krispy Kreme mobile app for cinnamon roll donuts, but the incorrect donuts were given to me. Unfortunately, I did not realize the mistake until I arrived home.
I returned to the store the following day with the incorrect donuts to have the order corrected. However, the experience was extremely disappointing. The supervisor on duty was unprofessional and rude when I asked for a replacement, despite the error originating from the store.
This occurred on Monday, December 15, at approximately 7:30 PM. What should have been a simple and straightforward correction turned into a very unpleasant experience due to the supervisor’s attitude.
I expect better customer service and accountability, especially when resolving an error made by the store. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent similar experiences in the future.

There’s a certain kind of American optimism wrapped in neon and sugar — the belief that no matter how complicated life gets, there will always be a place where warm dough, fluorescent lighting, and industrial nostalgia can temporarily convince you everything’s fine. Maybe even beautiful.
That place today was a Krispy Kreme.
Outside, the building sits gleaming in a too-clean, too-happy white and green — the kind of color palette selected by a marketing department convinced childhood joy can be Pantone-matched. The sun hangs low in the sky behind it, soft and cinematic, like the universe is trying — just this once — to make a chain doughnut shop look poetic. And damn it, it works. You stand there, phone in hand, knowing full well that you’re about to trade dignity for hot glaze and thinking: Yeah. Worth it.
Inside, the display case tells the real story. A chaotic seasonal fever dream of design choices that range from charming to mildly disturbing. Snoopy-shaped doughnuts — their expressionless fondant eyes staring into the void — sit beside Santa-belly pastries with icing belts stretched across their midsections like they’ve been stress eating since Halloween. Charlie Brown’s round yellow face, forever trapped in a frosting-based existential crisis, waits to be devoured. A wreath made of frosting, sprinkles, and questionable life choices rounds out the festive lineup.
You don’t pick one. You pick too many. Because you didn’t come here for moderation. You came for the moment the warm original glazed disintegrates on your tongue like it’s trying to escape before you swallow, leaving behind a whisper of sugar, butterfat, and childhood memory. There’s a reason people still line up for these. It’s engineered nostalgia — edible time travel.
The seating area looks like it was designed for an elementary school talent show — bright yellow stools and wooden steps arranged in a way that suggests someone, somewhere, expects doughnuts to be enjoyed as a community performance. Maybe that’s the point. Maybe in a world full of late-stage capitalism and constant existential dread, there is something meaningful about sitting on an awkward yellow square and stuffing your face with a seasonal pastry that looks like a cartoon dog.
This Krispy Kreme isn’t pretending to be artisanal or edgy or refined. It isn’t chasing trends or seeking Michelin stars. It is, unapologetically, itself: a shrine to processed joy — sticky, goofy, imperfect, and honest.
And sometimes — maybe more often than we’re willing to admit — that’s exactly what we need.
You leave with icing on your fingers and zero regrets.
Just how it should be.

We get kicked coupons in the mail that beat the app pricing. Granted we build points, just wish they were avail on app when/if think about grabbing some and don't have the paper flyer in hand. Guess i could start cataloging photos? Very nice employees, friendly. Never see anybody stuffing their faces, more of a grab and go establishment.

The service was great. I just wantedal lemon filled donut, which they did not have. I tried the New York Cheesecake and the crème filled donuts. They were okay.
I will keep looking for my lemon donut.

I was in this location today (11/ 14) in Pineville. I knew what I was going to order before I entered the building. Automatically, I will order lemon filled in a mixed dozen every time. After browsing, I started with the lemon filled..I was told by the impolite employee that I had been browsing too long & I should have known there were no lemon filled. They were discontinued! He said he had OTHER things to do other than waiting on me!! There were no other customers inside! VERY IMPOLITE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! This man needs to be taught manners and professionalism! I called a friend and the lemon is NOT discontinued! He was close to the KK where they go and picked up a whole dozen of nothing but lemon filled!! Not to worry.... I will NOT spend my hard earned money in this location EVER AGAIN!! The doughnuts were sweet but your male employee sure left a sour taste in my mouth!! Lesson learned!! And by the way... I called this store last night just to see if they had the lemon filled and a female employeeee HUNG UP ON ME!! SHAME ON YOU FOR HIRING ANYONE THAT HAS THAT PISSY ATTITUDE!!
Waited about 15 minutes in the drive thru for a coffee and one donut

We had an online order mishap through the app, but the manager made it right immediately and was very friendly in the process. The customer service from all employees we encountered was great. Thank you for taking care of your customers and for your understanding and kindness!

The only good thing about this place is their donuts. I ordered a frappe and then got a iced coffee and then said I wanted the frappe and then was told that they are machine was broke and the coffee isn’t even made right
