I brought my mother here for Mother's Day brunch. It was the first time she had been in downtown Charlotte. I was concerned about outside seating but it turned out to be fabulous. We were Not neglected! The buffet staff were friendly and accommodating and kept everything full and fresh. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and spoke with intelligence. We can't remember his name but my mom loved his red hair? Will be back to try dinner soon!!! Thanks for making my mother's first time experience in the Queen city a memorable one.
I brought my sister and niece to La Belle Helene to celebrate Mother's Day. First of all, vibes! The restaurant is stunning and perfect for a girls' brunch. Their buffet was outstanding! Raw bar, crepe station, two different kind of benedicts, all the pastries and sweets, and so much more! Excellent quality and quantity for the price we paid. Our server, Brooke, was fantastic and helped make it a special day for my sister. We might make La Belle Helene our new Mother's Day tradition!

On Mother's Day Brunch we were greeted warmly by Kimberly & Shai! We were seated at the best table in the house shortly after. Our server, Kayla, came to the table to introduce us to the buffet and offer Mimosa or Bloody Mary. We saw the seafood display which included oyster, shrimp, and crab claws. Needless to say we enjoyed some of each. The buffet seemed like it was a mile long but when we got to the end we met Chef Omar who was manning the Filet Benedict or Smoked Salmon Benedict. station. There were runners carrying clean plates to the beginning of the line while cooks & bakers were refreshing all of the buffet items. It was a well oiled machine! Kayla was extremely attentive to us as we noticed she was at all of her tables. She was even comfortable joking around with us as if we were her only table. Lindsay Spero came by to do a table touch and was also very relaxed in spite of the intensity of the day. Michael also introduced himself to us and made sure we should ask if we needed anything. Great Mothers Day!!!
Setup Mother's Day dinner for my wife and sister In law for a 7pm dinner on 5/11 besides them having to wait an additional 45mins to being seated, they said the food and service was really good. So I suggest and early reservation sounds like reservation times are really not guaranteed and by the time you order food more time lapse.

Upon arrival Alessandro greeted us with a rude statement. He mentioned the restaurant has a 15 minute grace period, I informed him that our Uber canceled and we had to walk to the restaurant. I showed him my phone because I called the restaurant but no one answered. He told me to have a seat and he would text me when our table was ready. The irony is that there was avail availability for immediate service on my husband's open table app. We went to the bar and Adam immediately took care of our drink order, he was professional, attentive, and provided excellent service. After waiting 45 minutes for a table we decided to leave.
Waitress maybe was overly busy as there were a lot of large tables for a prom or some other kids gathering. In any event, her service was just generally not in keeping with a restaurant of this caliber. She seemed to forget to take our entree order after having gotten our appetizers in, I had to flag her down after waiting quite a long time. Additionally, we were asked about our meal almost immediately after the food was delivered and we never saw her again until it was time for the check. We would have ordered 2 additional glasses of wine if we'd had the chance, missed a bit of tip there. Food and ambiance were 5 stars!

This was a Prom dinner for 11 high schoolers! The service was impeccable and the group had a fantastic time. They felt well taken care of and the server, Travis, made it fun and easy for the group to enjoy their special night. Highly recommend.

We were referred to LaBelle by a mutual friend. The atmosphere was very nice, calm and extremely friendly. I had the opportunity to meet the General Manager, who was extremely approachable and attentive. We were also wanting to dine here to find a great place to have a Birthday gathering in celebration of my 60th Birthday. We will be in contact to discuss options, and ideas.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience. Service was impeccable, extra touches like macarons with our coffee were a nice surprise. The chicken crepe was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. We can't wait to come back and try the dinner menu!

We like to visit this restaurant for special occasions. This time it was somebody's birthday AND somebody's mom was visiting from California. This was a Thursday night and it was moderately busy but not chaotic. This is why was surprising that it felt like our waiter was overworked or had tables spread out. He visited sporadically. We had to ask if there were any specials and only then did he mention a special anniversary menu that was not described especially specially. It felt like we were expected to already know the menu. I found it particularly unprofessional when entrees were delivered to 2 or our party but the other three were made to wait several minutes. We've all experienced that uncomfortable stretch when nobody knows where to eat or not, to talk or not, or what to do. The food was not as impressive as past visits. Both fish dishes were overly salted. Overall it felt like there was a lack of management and attention to the small details separate an outstanding establishment from a merely good one.

Very nice upscale restaurant downtown. Great vibe and ambiance. Went with dear friends prior to a nearby event, so we dined early (5pm). Great wait staff. The pris fix menu offered good options. It was somewhat pricey, but the food was very good, nice portions, and well presented. I would definitely return for special occasions.

Saturday night was our 2nd time going. The first time was a late Thursday afternoon lunch, which was a very calmer vibe, quiter, and service was more prompt. Overall it was good though. The desserts were amazing.
Aesthetically the restaurant was gorgeous. Every dish was way overseasoned. Had a great dessert (lemon). The "economy gastronomy" prix fixe was a nice option and not everyone had to order from that option.
