The food is very good, the bad thing is that you don't expect it. For the diners to finish, they begin to clean up. To clean even with people eating and the smell of detergent is unpleasant
I came in to try their version of Pollo fritto- fried chicken. This chicken was well marinated- fried to perfection and the sauces- 1 avocado salsa and 1 salsa picante were heavenly 😋 they underestimated me as they were unaware I am fluent in Spanish so I quickly changed the interaction ordering my food in Spanish and we both smiled and chatted while I waited for my food. This place is so welcoming and warm with great authentic dishes and I love the fact they make tortillas...
I had a papusa with meat. It came with what tasted like a pickled cabbage. My son had a plate of some kind of meat with rice and beans. For $12.99, there was enough food on that plate for us to have shared it. Our only I would have rated the service 4 stars, except for the fact that we don't speak Spanish and only one person there spoke English. We had to wait until that person was available to explain some of the menu options and answer our questions.
