It's ok. Not bad
Loved the Argentinian meat empanada and the arepa 🥟🌽 — both were super tasty, fresh and full of flavor! I’ll confess… I added a little extra salt 😅 but that’s just my Latina taste buds kicking in 🤣🤣 — either way, delicious comfort food! 🇦🇷🇨🇴.

I’ve eaten at The Casita a few times before and usually enjoyed it, but this last visit was very disappointing. When my husband and I arrived, the woman taking our order seemed visibly bothered by us, even though we were smiling and polite. She actually forgot my arepa completely, and when my husband went to ask for it, she didn’t even acknowledge him.
When the arepa finally came out, it was cold and hard on one side. I politely told her it was cold, and she simply said, “That’s how it is,” which I know isn’t true because in the past my arepas have been hot and fresh. She didn’t offer to warm it up or replace it until after I said, “Thank you, I’ll just write a review.” Only then did she bring me another one — and that one was warm, proving the first one wasn’t served correctly.
I left disappointed because I don’t think customers should have to threaten a review just to get the food prepared properly. The service and attitude really ruined what should have been a nice meal

The pupusas have no flavor. When they cook them, they just take them out of the freezer. They are not fresh pupusas made on the spot. The empanadas are the same — frozen and simply thrown into the fryer. It’s not fresh food, and honestly, I don’t recommend it. It doesn’t taste good. The staff is a bit serious. We could say they provide decent service, but not the kind of service they should be offering to a customer. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. It has no flavor whatsoever.

I love this place. The food is always fresh and there is minimal wait. I enjoy the carna empanada and the green Verde sauce.

Food is good, it feels just like ordering from a food truck. Employees could be more friendly, though.

Had 2 empanadas and was not impressed. That was not steak, more like roast beef. It also didn’t have any egg, onions, or peppers either. Very small portions. Service was good but I won’t eat here again.

La Caseta is my favorite stall at Camp North End. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. I love the homemade tortillas and the arepas.

I ordered two empanadas and a taco asada. These were SO GOOD that I will definitely be going back to try EVERYTHING on the menu. Big love to the ladies in the kitchen for their excellent food!
Worth any wait
Great little spot for quick Hispanic food! Delicious arepas and pupusas! Small bites! Not really a situation down restaurant, more like a grab and go style. There are some tables and areas to sit around the food stand.
