Horrible horrible service. How do you run a restaurant like that. Come down to York, sc and we will show you how to a restaurant should run. You treat people like that you’re lucky you don’t get hit. Had to chase you down to pay you, like really? Then you give me attitude and slam my card and receipt down at me. Nope.

If you’re a fan of shitty loud music and no service, make sure to stop here. Cool place but sat for almost 10 minutes without anyone coming by the table.

Worst experience ever for a weekday 5pm only 2 tables occupied! Took them 45 minutes to even take our order (we were a larger group of 12 but only 2 tables of 2-4 people were in the entire place) took them another 30 minutes to even bring our drinks (2 were brought back to the bar because they were straight mixer syrup, 2 people went to the bar themseleves to get a drink by the bartender stationed there). Sadly language was a huge barrier for everything, asking multiple times about who ordered what, 2 incorrect meals were brought out. More smaller sized tables came and got served and completed before us, some even just left because waiting as well. We noticed a table go and grab silverware for themselves. We had an event next door at 7pm to attend and 2 people got served their plate finally at 630p and 1 additional got their quesadilla plate at 650pm. I asked for those last 3 meals to be removed from the bill because almost 2 hours of sitting there we felt was ridiculous, the staff pushed back saying we ate the food though but we stood our ground. They lost all 12 of our service at this location.

While the atmosphere was nice, the food was subpar. It came out lukewarm and lacked the pop of flavor Mexican food was known for. The bartenders ignored customers who came up to an EMPTY bar. The wait staff failed to provide eating utensils and took forever to bring drinks (even just WATER). Incorrect order came out. Took forever to get check and to pay as well.
This whole experience was a turn off and I’m never returning. The only thing the place had going for it was the atmosphere.

Our server was friendly but he did not speak English which made communicating difficult. After placing our order, another server came back over to confirm what we wanted. 30 minutes went by and we still had not received our drinks or our appetizers. We asked about our drinks but still did not receive them. After 45 minutes our order came out at the same time as the appetizer (chips and queso dip). Both mine and my husbands orders were incorrect (I asked for a vegetarian dish and was brought chicken… my husband asked for steak tacos and was brought pork). At this point we still had not received our drinks from the bar. After asking about the drinks again… they came out and tasted horrible. The place was not busy at all when we arrived. I do not think this restaurant is owned by the same people as other la Unica restaurants in the area (different menu). I don’t recommend. They took off 1 drink and gave us a 30% discount but we still paid $40 for 2 people for a disappointing meal.

We were on our way out. My brother is a bit drunk so as we are walking out one of two black security guys glares at him giving a nasty look. It pisses me off so I ask why he was looking at him like that? They get mad like some Karen’s and automatically go off and say “don’t worry about what he looking at” then the other one proceeds to say “ you guys can go, your not allowed back in” I laughed and said we’re leaving for a reason. I would tie those dogs that are all bark and scare away your good clientele.

The DJ here is playing music way too loud. It hurts my ears, and I can't hear my friends talk. There's only like 2 people here and it's freezing cold, and the DJ is outside blasting music so loud it's giving me a headache. It's louder than a sold-out concert right now.

I saw it even looked like a neighbor was talking to a cop about a noise complaint. I can't believe this place is causing people to lose sleep over this terrible party :(

The most horrendous service I've ever had. Arrived at 5:45 finally got food after multiple requests to multiple employees. Left at 8pm. They weren't even that busy so not sure what the issue was. $15 margaritas tasted like Kool aid with very little to no liquor in them. After reading the reviews it appears lack of service is an ongoing issue for them

Not sure if the chef or management changed in the last 6 months but the food quality is way better than I remember it ever being. Quick service and amazing tacos. Highly recommend the lengua tacos!
