“I saw the great reviews and walked over from my hotel, At first I thought it was closed. Can't see in the windows and drive through closed but don't let that fool you! The grilled tilapia with tomatillo sauce was terrific! I don't eat meat and got the shrimp rolls. Beware, there was pork inside even though only shrimp was listed on the tag. The meat dishes did look fantastic. Premade foods that day that you can just grab and go like the name. They also had a pleasant seating area. It seems like a family restaurant so I'm glad I could support! It was delicious! Its a must try!“

“JP Lao isn’t a fancy spot, but the food is so comforting and delicious that the ambiance will be the last thing on your mind.
I first tried JP years ago when they were still a food truck, and their papaya salad and Lao sausage quickly became my go-to order. Last year, my partner and I moved back to the area, and you can imagine my excitement when I discovered they had opened a brick-and-mortar location.
Since then, I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and it’s all been packed with flavor. I’m especially a fan of their Tum (salad) options, while my partner swears by the brisket with sticky rice. It’s also fun to browse the display cases and fridge, you never know what you’ll come across.
My new favorite, though, is their khao peik. It isn’t listed on the main menu, but if you spot it handwritten on a piece of paper (or see their pho available), don’t pass it up. They're served in large bowls when you dine in with sauces to dress it up as much as you'd like, and the perfect dish for colder weather.“
