I paid with my credit card and they made me tap it twice and ever since then my credit card has had fraudulent activity. The credit card company tied into Laurel market. I went back to talk to the manager and she just didn’t care and waved her hands. Terrible service and the credit card company tied my fraudulent activity since that transaction at Laurel market and them making me double tap my credit card.

Amazing selection of sandwiches/wraps, cake slices, pastries, and drinks. Line was long and waited for about 25 minutes to order, but the food was worth it.

Excellent sandwich counter with reasonable prices. The chicken salad on rye is the best chicken salad ever for like $10. The Curry Tuna salad is also very good. Sandwiches are stacked high, with fresh ingredients, vegetables and fresh homemade bread. Try to get there early because it gets busy around lunch time. Great little store with unique beer and wine options, fresh brewed coffee and a lot more. This place is a gem.

Just had a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant and came here to say it was absolutely delicious and very well made. This was my first time going to Laurel Market and it certainly won’t be my last. I love the local, bodega feel of the place. 10/10 recommend.

Fresh reasonably priced sandwiches! This place just feels like a classic corner sandwich shop should, unpretentious, unassuming and simple, yet full of character and delicious food. You will probably have to wait a bit for your order, but it will be worth it! I had the Valium sandwich, which is almost an Italian, but with some fresher tasting greens. The ingredients come together in a splendid fashion, and the hoagie is not too soft and not too hard; just right!

Great food. This is a small sandwich shop, convenience store and wine shop. There is usually a line of people waiting to order sandwiches, and it is well worth the time. Big selection of sandwiches with multiple bread choices. This is to go only as there is no seating.
The wine store is small but an excellent selection of higher end wines and hard to find bottles. Great find.

My home was destroyed by hurricane Helene and while I’ve been displaced, people around me were kind enough to give me a Visa gift card and cash so I can grab food while I completely uproot my life and move. I came to Laurel Market to get food after salvaging things out of a construction zone all day, and when I went to pay, the man at the counter said the swipe for the Visa gift card wouldn’t work. Then when I got cash, he said he wouldn’t take $100 bill because it might be counterfeit (I had just seen someone pay with a $100 bill 2 days before). She was dressed nicer than me so maybe that’s why her $100 was accepted. I’d be dressed better if I didn’t just have my home crushed. Anyway, the line starts to build up behind me after he’s told me the Visa gift card won’t swipe and he won’t take the $100. So then he says, fine, and voila! The swipe works for the Visa gift card. I don’t know what it is about this guy but it really seems like he doesn’t want me to eat. I don’t know why he lied about the swipe and why he wouldn’t let me pay and just get food. Amidst the devastation of the past few weeks, this was the cherry on top.

i went here at peak lunch hour so the wait in line was 20 minutes and i can say with absolute certainty it was worth the wait!!! i ordered the milanesa torta which was so delicious, the bread was super crispy and the milanesa was perfectly cooked, very flavorful. i usually dont like tomatos but this torta made them delicious! my sister ordered the number 11, which in her words was " really good!" will absolutely be coming again but maybe not during peak lunch! definitely recommend visiting!

Always consistently delicious, breakfast and lunch. I love everything I've had from their prepared food cooler as well. The ladies and gentlemen making the food back there are always so nice. Coffee is great and always hot. Call ahead if you're on a tight schedule!
