The red pea soup was delicious. This place is the place I plan to go to often. The service was amazing! The food smelled so good when I walked in. I told my friends and family about Lawrence! I definitely plan on going back again and again and again.

I feel bad writing this review because I've loved this place since I discovered it (about 7 years ago) but the quality is on the decline recently. Sometimes the food is not as seasoned or the rice can be off (hard or dry), even the portion size can be better but I overlook these things because I'm a loyal customer and I'm fond of Lawrence.... but lately I can't take it. Today did it for me. I ordered a large oxtail and curry chicken combo and literally got 3 oxtail on my plate. The beef patties were flat! Barely any filling in it. I probably won't be back because the food costs too much to not get your money's worth. I don't think the trip across town is worth it anymore. Sad case because this was the only caribbean restaurant I patronized. Guess I have to find a new spot smh.

Ordered Buttered shrimp with rice & beans cabbage & sweet plantains. Got ALL THE WAY HOME & NO PLANTAINS 😡😡😡😡 I will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER patronize this business. I would suggest the staff go & get GED’s for better customer service!

I'm giving a 3 star because they were very nice and for the amount of food that we ordered, the time was pretty good. However, with the amount of money that was spent at this restaurant, the food was nowhere near worth the cost. My boyfriend got jerked chicken, which was burnt and not that flavorful. I got the stewed chicken and did not like the taste at all. I was very disappointed 😞 the beef Patty was off the chain and very good. The oxtails and the curry chicken the kids said were good, but i questioned the brown color of the curry. If I ever go back, it will only be for the beef patties.

Great food and staff! The jerk chicken was very tasty and had great flavor. The cakes were amazing!! I will definitely be stopping by again! Very quick and efficient service.

I've been to many Jamaican restaurants from New York to Florida and this is one of my favorites by far. The meat is so tender, everything falls off the bone. The flavors are so good from the curry to the jerk. Customer service was immaculate.

This place is a sleeper, I don't know how this place is not a five star!!!!

Before I write this review I noticed that other person had a bad review about this young lady but I had wonderful experience with her it was my first time here and she suggested that I got the curry goat and it was off the chain I enjoyed it so much I will be coming back with my whole family I appreciate her so much thanks for the great hospitality you show me
