Legion Brewing South Park

Drove 45 minutes and got a babysitter, to come enjoy dinner and a beer with my husband for his birthday, only to find that despite normal hours listed everywhere , the entire restaurant had closed at 2pm on a Saturday for a private event. It’s 2024 and social media posts go a long way! Super disappointed. Be sure to call ahead to verify them being open on Saturday evenings during the holidays.

Crazy cool place to meet up w/friends. Service was exceptional however, the food was served cold and seeming day old as the chicken was hard, & the BBQ pork was nasty. Was it just a bad day? We will return yet will not order food in the future.

We came with friends for an evening of food and drinks. The beer was delicious and cold. Yes…we had food. The beer was delicious.

This place has gone down drastically…. The food and service used to be good back when Tilley worked here (she was literally the BEST!!!!!!), but I was literally the only customer at the bar (obviously now I understand why) and was ignored by literally all 3 bartenders AND the hostess who kept looking over at me and not even saying a WORD, or a simple “we’ll be right with you” or just ANYTHING AT ALL until I finally had to go up and basically beg for service/ someone to take my order ???? The whole vibe was super weird, and I definitely would’ve just left if I wasn’t already there. Service did get slightly better after having to practically beg them to take my order and I guess a lightbulb finally went off in their heads like “oh yeah, that’s probably what we should be doing” and atleast the drinks were good, but the food was nothing like I remembered in the past. This whole experience was shocking, and I hope they do better.

We were seated outside and did not receive ANY service for 15+ minutes.

Multiple servers looked at us directly, specifically a man with a black curly hair and a woman with long black ponytail, but both choose to ignore us. At a bare minimum, someone should have acknowledged us after walking past our table multiple times.

We're locals to the area and have frequented this brewery for years. The service at this establishment has gone down hill.

Additionally, the hostess didn't even say hello when we entered. Egregious service and we will be telling our friends and family. If you are in the area and need a drink, head to Duckworth’s or Suffolk Punch which will provide a much better experience.

Won't be attempting to come back here again.

My trip to Legion Brewing was great. The Juicy Jay IPA had a ton of flavor and depth. The BBQ plate was better than advertised, and for a good price. The brewery is a great time. Give it a try.

I came in for dinner tonight and opted to sit at the bar. Donna was the bartender and was very helpful when it came to dishes on the menu. I would recommend Legion for friends or family who want to enjoy time together and hangout. Awesome atmosphere.
