Ah, Let’s Meat,
Let us begin with the service. Our server was the living embodiment of butterfingers, except instead of butter, it felt more like an entire tub of motor oil had been slathered across their hands. Plates wobbled, utensils clattered, and I lived in constant fear that my drink might end up in my lap rather than in its intended glass. Charming. Truly.

But the pièce de résistance of the evening was when we made the acquaintance of an unexpected dining companion: a cockroach, strutting across the floor with more confidence than the staff. Evidently, it felt more at home than we did, which says quite a lot. I do appreciate the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity—after all, what is a meal without a touch of urban wildlife?

Now, the food. Ah yes, the food. If one can even call it that. The meat was limp, flavorless, and about as inspiring as a wet paper towel. I’ve had more vibrant culinary experiences chewing gum long past its expiration date. The side dishes—those supposed jewels of Korean barbecue—were a bland afterthought, as though someone had whispered the word “kimchi” into a bowl of cabbage and called it a day.

The ambiance? Imagine a hospital waiting room that tried, and failed, to cosplay as a restaurant. Dim lighting not in the chic, romantic sense but in the “we haven’t paid the electric bill” sense. And the smoke ventilation system clearly missed the memo that this was supposed to be a Korean BBQ, not a hostage negotiation with a fog machine.

This review is mainly for our server, May. She was so attentive and friendly! Love her customer service skills and her kind attitude. Best server I’ve had in Charlotte in awhile! Food used to be a little better prior to the fire. But I still enjoyed it. Thank you, May for taking such great care of us!

Bad customer service. The girl that came to give us our food (not our waitress) had an attitude the whole time we were there. Employees messing around with our waitress while she was taking our orders.

CLEARLY THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND NOT JUST ME!! LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS GUYS!!

My recent experience at this KBBQ establishment was profoundly disappointing, failing to meet even basic standards of hygiene and customer service. The all-you-can-eat option, priced at an already considerable $40 per person, took a turn for the worse when we discovered a hair in our food.

Upon bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, I expected a sincere apology and a reasonable adjustment to the bill. Instead, I encountered resistance and reluctance. After a protracted discussion, the management only agreed to deduct a mere $15 from the total cost (not even half of a persons meal). This paltry compensation was hardly sufficient, considering the unsanitary conditions and the resulting discomfort experienced during what should have been an enjoyable meal.

The combination of subpar hygiene and inadequate customer service makes it impossible for me to recommend this KBBQ place. Potential diners should be aware that the high prices do not guarantee a clean or satisfactory dining experience. Completely not worth it and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

I recently dined at Let’s Meat, hoping for an enjoyable Korean barbecue experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations.

From the outset, the concept seemed promising, but several issues quickly became apparent. One of the most noticeable problems was the inconsistent portion sizes. As more items were ordered throughout the meal, the portion sizes noticeably shrank, which felt both misleading and frustrating, especially given the all-you-can-eat format typically associated with Korean barbecue.

The quality of the meat was also disappointing. Cuts lacked freshness and flavor, and the overall quality did not reflect the $40 per person price point. For a restaurant that markets itself as a premium dining spot, the ingredients simply didn’t meet the mark.

The most concerning part of the evening, however, was discovering a hair in one of my dishes. When I brought this to the server’s attention, the only response was to replace my chopsticks and metal plate—an insufficient gesture for a clear hygiene issue. No genuine apology or proactive steps were taken until the end of the meal, when a $15 discount was offered after I expressed my dissatisfaction. Even then, it required speaking with a manager, and I was initially offered a gift card toward a future visit—which, after that experience, I have no intention of using.

In summary, Let’s Meat failed to deliver on both quality and basic customer service. Between shrinking portions, low-grade meat, and the mishandling of a serious hygiene concern, this was not only a disappointing meal but one that left a lasting negative impression.

The food was good, I went back after it re-opened. The only problem was the heat! It had to be at least 90° in the dining room. I feel sorry for the staff, not too sure how they can work in such conditions.

Was one of my favorite locations in Charlotte; but, I will not be back. Brought a group of friends here and drove 3 cars since parking is supposed to be comped. We each set parking meter for 2 hours. Since our grill got turned off before we were done eating and had to wait for it to reheat we left right at 2 hours and our parking expired right as we were entering in the provided codes. The codes didn't work since our meters expired and was just told there was nothing they could do. There is no signage at the entrance about needing to enter codes before they expire.

Came here to eat with my bestfriend (she can’t eat after 9 because she has to take medications to eat) & they told her she’d be charged wether she ate or not. That’s ridiculous, $40 to sit next to me! Is this even policy? & it’s actually discrimination to those with disabilities.
