First time eating Korean food with my cousins & they took me out today the food was sooooooooo good and the servers were making sure I didn’t eat anything I was allergic too!

I’m writing this review as I’m waiting for my food to finish cooking. Overall the dishes are good but it was taking a long time to grill the meat. We adjusted the knob to medium so it’ll carmelize the bulgolgi but we saw our nice waiter get scolded by his manager and he asked us not to turn it up. The grill settings are 1 flame to a max of 3 flames. We were forcibly set at 1.5 flames(lower than middle) so the grill so it takes FOREVER to cook your meat. And when you have 6 people at a table who are all waiting for 2oz of meat for 10 minutes with a 2 hour dine in limit it’s frustrating. We’ll be going to k-pot in the future. (It took 15 minutes to cook bulgolgi)

I called in today and asked if they did lunch on weekends. The lady said yes $24.99 until 3pm. I made sure to ask “so right now is lunch?” And she said yes. We got there and I asked “if this is lunch menu?” And he asked me if it was my first time kbbq… At the end they got us saying it was $39.99 and we were appalled. We don’t mind paying the full price but we drove 30 minutes upon learning iron dish is closed for lunch to a lie.
Despite their nice large menu, almost everything on their banchan tastes mid. Their beef steak was actually good but their kimchi jjigae, potato salad, “greens salad” all taste mid and egg omelette is even extra charge.
We asked for a grill change and the kid scrubbed the pan with half effort and left. We weren’t sure if he was going to come back with a new grill or that was it?? The attitude continued to be off putting. And moreso that was the “grill change”.
In my 1000+ times having eaten kbbq (as a Korean) I had many appalling moments today. gave let’s meat another shot and borderline feel scammed.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Let’s Meet KBBQ
I visited Let’s Meet KBBQ at 1400 S Church St, Charlotte, NC, and this was one of the most disappointing meals I have had in a long time.
There was almost no variety to choose from, which is surprising for a Korean BBQ restaurant. The side dishes were bland, lacked seasoning, and tasted like they had been sitting out too long. The shrimp was old, freezer-burned, and had a strange odor that made it hard to even try a second bite.
What made the visit worse was the unprofessional behavior from the servers and the hostess. They were not friendly, helpful, or welcoming, and it felt like they did not care that customers were having a poor experience.
This restaurant is now at the very top of my “Do Not Ever Return” list. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for good food, good service, or a good dining experience.

This an all u can eat and you cook your own food. Proteins are well seasoned and plenty of it. It's your own fault if you walk away hungry.

I took my boyfriend to Let’s Meat for his birthday and we had a great time! Our server, in addition to other staff, were incredibly attentive, returning often to take more orders and offer drink refills. The meat itself was very yummy, and I enjoyed a lot of the initial sides that are set on the table. We ordered some veggies as well and I would have liked to get more than three zucchini rounds at a time, but alas this is meat centered eating. It was a flat fee per person which made pricing for a special dinner easy. All the booths were for four people, with maybe one or two that could seat six people. Larger groups would likely need to split up. We would definitely return!

Nando did a great job taking care of us, from recommendations, to cleaning the grill, to hospitality. Haven't been here since the shut down but it's back and better than ever.
Amazing service from Fernando. He helped us with the grill and allergies we had. Ask for him when you eat here he is the best.

Came for dinner after they finally reopened after the fire. Fernando got us taken care of and put us onto some dumpling game by putting the sesame oil on while cooking them 😋
