The Civil Union sandwich is my fave! I crave it often! Delicious sandwiches and desserts/pastries. Lattes are always good. Get there early because they can run out of certain items, like the Civil Union sandwich. They do have parking, indoor seating, and a small amount of outdoor seating. Always one of my fave places to go when I visit Charlotte!

The atmosphere was the best part.Came in was looked at by one specific worker multiple times never greeted never even spoken to .. until we asked to order after standing at the register for over 10 mins and never spoken to once. She proceeded to tell us she will find someone. One comes feom the restroom and has an attitude to have to take our order. Definitely a never again. Food was boring and bland the biscuits are horrible ? and so is the service

This place used to be awesome and somewhere I'd find myself most weekends to score a donut and breakfast. Unfortunately the food over the last 6 months has gone dramatically downhill. Specifically the baked goods and bread that is used in almost every dish. I tried to give it several second chances but today was my last. I miss what this place once was and hope they find their way back.

Convenient, great hours, management is great. The employees are typical service industry know-it-alls annoyed by everyones' existence. Some of the food items are pretentious. This coffee shop/breakfast spot /lunch place /bottle shop/retail shop is overwhelming but not quite an upscale cracker barrel. Everything on the sandwich menu is great. I would just make subs on little things like bread choice or lettuce. If an ingredient is highlighted like a lavender láte I should taste the lavender.
Kid-friendliness: Open seating and outdoor seating easy for strollers and large parties.
Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance has a ramp 10 ft from the door. The dining room and outside patio have stairs to additional seating. It's easy to access the counters and cutlery.

I adore this spot! I've been coming here for years and to this day this is my partner and I's favorite latte/coffee in Charlotte- if you like florals get the Oat Milk Latte with Lavender and Honey. Their pastries are also delicious and always rotating. Bonus points for the outside area for your furry friends!

Walked in today to be given some weird looks by everyone. I told the cashier that she needs to give me a minute to read the menu and she seemed impatient. I got the Lincoln's Bedroom at first glance and an iced latte. Came out to 15 dollars. The outcome of this visit was: I got a cold sandwich that was not good at all and was pretty small for the 10-dollar price tag. The latte was acceptable. I was expecting the store to be more in theme. The service was fast however the food is not worth it at all.
Super cute spot for getting work done or a coffee date. Parking lot was open with spots. We ordered the apple braised brisket special sandwich on the big boy loaf sourdough. They make the sourdough in house! The bread alone sets this place apart from all other shops that serve sandwiches. The sandwich was flavorful and the bread added the best texture. We had waited a bit for our sandwich due to kitchen issues but the barista on staff offered us a pastry for the inconvenience. That's good business in my opinion. We'll definitely be back.
This review is solely for the potatoes. Absolute robbery. $7 for dry COLD hard lumps of potato with no flavor if it weren’t for the onions. Do not get them ! Not to mention I went and looked in the kitchen and I’ve never seen more miserable people in my life. What a terrible experience on a nice Sunday morning.
Got breakfast Sammy and stuffed flapjack both are awesome. Need to come back and try the lunch sammys. It’s a market too so they sell odds and ends but they’re specialty is bread ?. Will for sure come again

Avocado toast excellent, lovely setting. Amazing desserts Great selection of cards, altho overpriced. Could try everything on the menu ! All looks wonderful
excellent service, knowledgeable, well trained baristas, and incredible food at reasonable prices, with adequate indoor seating!! i came here with a friend for my birthday breakfast and i ordered the sticky biscuit (?) and my friend ordered the avo toast. both were incredible. the biscuit is obviously made in house and has amazing flavor. the avo toast was delightful, although we agreed that a little more acid (maybe swap the red onions for pickled onions!) would really take this from a wonderful dish to an out-of-this-world one.i had a drip coffee that was truly delightful and my friend’s latte was superb. we wanted to try a dessert but didn’t have room after our breakfast! will definitely be back.
Wow x 5!! This quaint restaurant nestled into a small space is blowing customers mind. Very minimal parking but once you get inside, you could care less!! Great energy and people willing to help you with the menu/order. We had the LGBT lettuce, bacon, tomato and guacamole and trust how fresh and tasty that sandwich was is no laughing matter and also the avocado toast with oil, onions, guacamole and a few other ingredients were all fresh and worth a try! Fairly good seating! The lavender tea was a nice surprise also! They have a nice selection of baked goods including banana pudding and Oreo cheesecake which we also got and enjoyed!! 5 stars for the restaurant and 7 stars for the people! Oh and try the vegan chai it’s made with oat milk, my favorite hot or iced! You’re welcome!!
Great place to stop and get some breakfast and a coffee. I got the egg white omelet with turkey bacon and advocado. Was absolutely delicious! Service was great and the wonderful lady at the counter ( sorry, I forgot your name :( ) gave us advice on some great local spots and actually took time to write us up a list.
Parking: Parking by entrance to restaurant, free hour parking. Other businesses in plaza area so you may not get a spot.
Mary’s muffin was phenomenal! I added red onions - so good! I loved the potatoes - look at the portions, gigantic! I had so many leftovers!
