This restaurant(Londa's) was definitely the spot for my wife and I to go grab a bite to eat. Please if you're ever in Charlotte North Carolina drop in and grab something to eat.

I was recommended years ago for being great soul food restaurant . I tried others in close proximity to my home. Had I known her food taste was that satiating to my tast palate, I would have sought out Londa's years ago.
She and the staff were superb in customer interaction. Courteous, professional, and made me feel right at home. A + (Plus). I plan to continue our relationship long term as well as trusting them for serving larger groups that I might be engaged in. THANKS so much! it was my privilege and pleasure.

This was my first time trying Londa’s and it definitely won’t be my last! I ordered the beef rib and it was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I also tried the greens, mac & cheese, yams, cornbread, a chicken thigh, and the sweet potato cobbler. Every single bite tasted homemade and seasoned with love. I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!

Simply amazing!

Initially, I expected the establishment to have customer seating but I was later told that they only provided take-out. Despite this, the hostess helped us choose a yummy plate for my daughter and I to share even though we came 20 minutes before closing. She was super sweet and threw in an extra piece of cornbread and a third side for us.

We ordered the fried Perch, collard greens, and candied yams. We got a side of green beans for free out of the goodness of the hostess’s heart.

The food exceeded out expectations. The collard greens tasted very fresh and the perch was meaty and flavorful. Would love to try again if given the opportunity!

It is worthy to note that my daughter and I are originally from Washington DC and are visiting Charlotte NC for a couple of days.

The atmosphere wasn't good because they seem to be in transition at the moment. Besides that if you want the best soul food in Charlotte NC you have to visit Londa's. Everything was cooked to perfection.

My husband and I stop by Londa's 7/13 2025 after church probably about a 45 min drive, When I tell you food was delicious O,My ..I had the pork chop plate with yams and broccoli casarole, My husband had crocker fish ,greens, Mac and cheese We were dancing while eating 😆 🤣 😂 that's how delicious the food tasted ,lady at the counter who took our order was polite and patience has we were trying to figure out what we wanted and explained to us the menu, one more thing that cornbread yesssssss was sooooo delicious. If you hadn't visited Londa's you should the best Soulfood around 😉

I have been here several times before and also when it was located in a different part of town and was a dine in restaurant. The area where you come in and place your order is very small and there are no chairs or room to sit and wait on your order. You must stand outside or wait in your car. Once I ordered, they told me my food would be ready in 20 minutes, maybe a little longer because they had 2 staff callouts and were a little short handed, it was ready in 15 minutes. The food was hot and really good. My order was accurate. I have no complaints about the food or service, I just wish there was an inside waiting area.

I've eaten there a few times. The ribs tasted more like roast believe it or not. My greens were kind of dry & the potato salad was like mashed potatoes with the potato salad ingredients..I don't complain about what people charge, but they certainly are overcharging for the portions they put out.
