We had a delicious dinner on a Friday night! Our server Ricardo was very attentive and kind. I’m Venezuelan and this food is legit and authentic with delicious twists. Great for food lovers overall! Don’t sleep on their delicious cocktails (Rum sour!!!) will be back again and again! Pictured: Pepito de pollo (Venezuelan grilled chicken sandwich) and Cachapa Trio but we also had the tequeños and the yuca balls.

I spent $27 on three very small items, including a canned drink, for just one person. The arepa was very small, the cachito was even smaller. For the amount of money they are charging, these should be the most flavorful things, and they truly are not. It is not worth the money, I left hungry still, thinking I would have been much happier at a Mexican joint, or even a Chipotle. Very disappointing.
Biggest Tequeño I’ve ever seen!
I came to Los Chamos on a mission—to find a cachapa like the one I tried on a recent trip, and they delivered! The corn pancake and cheesy filling were absolute perfection—just the kind of comfort food I was craving. The only thing I didn’t love was the cheese sauce on top—it wasn’t quite my taste—but next time I’ll just ask them to leave it off, easy fix!
The service was warm and friendly, and they were super helpful. I love finding spots like this that bring a little piece of travel back home. If you’re in the mood for something new and delicious, definitely give them a try—and pro tip: customize your cachapa to your liking!
The food is excellent. Lave all dishes we had.
Service is very good.
Wonderful resturant with authentic Venezuelan dishes. My girl friend is from Venezuela and loved this place. Dishes are large and you should get plenty to eat. Service was quick and professional. Inside atmosphere was pleasant and upscale. A stark contrast to the strip mall the resturant is located in. I'd visit here again. Great place to recommend to your friends.
Great food
I ordered empanadas and they were super greasy, like they’d been refried or were old. The ham and cheese roll was totally over-reheated. I wouldn’t go back.

I haven’t been inside but I can tell you this is easily the best food I’ve had in Charlotte after living in Charlotte for 7 years. The portion sizes match the price, which is starting to become very difficult to find in this economy. I ordered the shredded chicken bowl, it came with jasmine rice, avocado, pico de gallo, and black beans. I also ordered a shredded chicken empanada. The empanadas are $5 a piece which I do think is a bit expensive for one but still very delicious and worth buying again. My boyfriend ordered the steak bowl which came with jasmine rice, avocado, a spring salad, and he ordered a fried egg which they added for an additional charge. He enjoyed his meal as well, the steak was juicy and flavorful and the egg was a good touch.
I recently visited this restaurant and, while the food was decent, I was taken aback by the pricing. In general, the restaurant felt overpriced, especially considering the portion sizes and the type of food, which usually isn't considered a full meal. I understand the need for businesses to stay afloat, but there are other places offering larger portions that align better with their pricing for a full meal experience. I felt the value just wasn’t there. To make matters worse, a 20% service charge was added to the bill without any prior notice. If you're not paying close attention, you'll end up with an unexpectedly high total, which is frustrating. They also still expect a tip, on top of the service charge. To top it off, after I left the restaurant I realized I was charged for an extra juice I never ordered. The juice I actually ordered wasn't great quality—mostly ice with a little low quality liquid. Overall, this experience left me feeling like the price didn’t match the value.
Excellent little place. Good was fresh and excellent! Cheese empanadas were amazing and the pabellón too. Owner was very polite. Place is clean.
They are kind and delocious food.
I’ve never tried Venezuelan food before and it was amazing 10/10 recommend.
