We love Luce on all levels. The ambiance is lovely, quiet, and serene. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared for each person. The service is impeccable. Our servers last night were very hands-on, yet never hovered. We go there as often as we can and never once have we had a bad experience. The owner makes it a point to visit with each patron and he is very welcoming and warm. We highly recommend Luce!

Tagliatelle Bolognese was fantastic. The Caesar salad was great as well. The bread was a bit tough and dry, but not a deal breaker. Great service! I really enjoyed the experience at Luce.

Great restaurant if you can deal with the location being in Uptown with logistical challenge of finding a parking garage. Best option is to UBER.

In-formal service at a formal restaurant. Not much information was provided when we sat down. The value was rated as a 3 star as a family of 4, each one of us was easily able to eat all by of our meal at an Italian restaurant which was approximately $30.00 a plate.

Booked a reservation for 7:30. Ended up getting there closer to 8:30 which I thought NBD- they close at 10. They were CLOSED. When I called to book a reservation the host made it seem like they were slammed! Well if you were slammed why close early? I was super excited to try this restaurant now I have to add it on the long list of Charlotte disappointments.
We went here for anniversary dinner. I will start with the positive: the restaurant is beautiful, the wait staff refilling drinks and taking away plates were fast and kind, bruschetta app was good. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. The parking situation to get to this restaurant is a real pain. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before being greeted by a man who asked if we had any questions. I wasn’t sure if he was our server or the manager. He never introduced himself and was not friendly . My husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs. It was edible, but quite bland. I ordered chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes The chicken was overcooked with no flavor and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. I had to send it back They quickly replaced it with a Tagliatelle with Bolognese. It was edible, but Honestly, I’ve made better at home. Overall a very high priced disappointment.

All in all it's a nice restaurant. Beautifully decorated and the ambiance was great, not noisy but we did come in on a Tuesday night. The food was good, idk about extraordinary enough to be excited to come back. It's a high end restaurant to check off the list. I do appreciate them acknowledging our anniversary but sadly idk what the dessert was they gave us, neither of us liked it and still had to order more dessert. All the staff were pretty polite for the most part.

First time visit. LUCE is a gracious quiet restaurant tucked away in busy downtown Charlotte. The server was excellent, as was the food. The appetizer plates were very generous and delectable. I will definitely return when I am in downtown Charlotte again.
