Lucky Dog Bark - Steele Creek

I have been taking my dog here since I moved to Charlotte. The people are nice. However, I noticed today that the price of my dog’s grooming doubled. When I reached out to inquire about it, I was told that the prices did increase however it’s up to groomers discretion regarding how much they would like to charge. I asked if there’s a list showing the standard pricing since the services have changed. She stated she could send me their “cheat sheet”. However, the prices still depends on how much the groomer wants to charge for the service that day. Due to this, I probably won’t be back. I understand increasing prices. However , doubling the cost of a service and then also charging what you want on top of it is not consistent and a little backwards.

We have always had great experiences with Lucky Dog. Our dog gets so excited just getting close to turning into the parking lot! We have had him bathed and the spa treatment which is worth it. We have used them numerous times and he enjoys it immensely. We highly recommend them without reservation.

We love Lucky Dog. Our dog has gone to daycare and boarded many times in the past four years. They’re friendly, helpful, and always take great care of our dog.

My old venue to board dog Ice closed permanently. Since then I have used Lucky Dog for overnight boarding as well as daycare and grooming, nothing but high marks and high praise for their care for my furry friend.

Lucky Dog Bark - Steele Creek has been wonderful to our Beau. It was his second boarding stay and they took such good care of him.

Love this place! How can you not be happy and at ease being greeted immediately by dogs? Michelle was the bartender and she was amazing! So attentive and friendly and made the tastiest drinks. Would recommend this place to anyone rather you have a furry friend or not! You don’t leave disappointed :)

We love Lucky Dog! We’ve used them for boarding, grooming, and their dog park and all three have been wonderful. The staff take great care of our dog, are careful with her medication dosing, and do a great job with her baths. Our dog always comes back from boarding or playing happy and worn out. If you are a regular, I’d highly recommend joining their Facebook group to see pictures of the dogs at daycare.

Our pup enjoys her time at Lucky Dog. She is so happy there. She is well cared for and it shows! We have been bringing our dog here for grooming and boarding for several years.

My wife and I have been coming here with our dogs for years, literally. When we came today and unleashed our dogs, our border collie was immediately attacked by a pit bull. The bulldog was allowed to stay. The dog then attacked and bit our basset hound. Then, an interfering young woman decided to insert herself in our business and began berating my wife, because I walked our dog, on a leash, out to the artificial turf. I understand your dogs aren’t supposed to be leashed, again, I have been coming here for years. I just wanted my dog to not be afraid to go out and play before I let her go. Things turned really ugly when her large boyfriend inserted himself into the process when I was closing our tab and we got in a shouting match. The bartender did nothing to meditate the incident other than to say our dog shouldn’t be on a leash. We will not be returning.

My dog is so happy to go there.

Today was a tough day. We came together to celebrate the life of Max who was lost unexpectedly and too soon. This is a community who deeply cares and comes together for both cocktails and good times but also supports eachother in the hard times. Michelle the manager showed up with flowers, hugs and a heart of love. There are tons of places that you can go get a drink with your puppers, but no place quite like this one. Michelle and her team go beyond and that's why we keep coming back.

My dog Remi loves coming here. They always have fun activities at the daycare, and plenty of treats. I haven’t tried the bar area yet, but that’s next on the list. Thank you guys!

I enjoy bringing my dog for grooming at Lucky Dog. My baby loves coming here abd I feel comfortable and trust the work provided for him. He has a fantastic stylist and the staff is excellent. I am glad I found this location.
