This was my first time eating there so I wanted to try it, The people were nice the atmosphere was nice but I had to wait 25 minutes for my food which I didn’t mind I wasn’t in a rush but when I got home and ate majority of my Simon an rice plate with they said “Cajun” sauce, at first I was confused because in the picture online the sauce was white mines was tan looking so idk what that was about. But I immediately got sick I really think I had food poisoning tbh I threw up and pooped for two days an also had stomach pains. I’m really disappointed because I bought 3 plates that night two for my home an one for a friend so I paid 76$ for all three for me to be sick the same night an next day I wouldn’t recommend an I will never eat there again the only thing I really liked was the lemonade

the young lady that took my order was very nice but waiting 30+ mins for food will never sit right with me. the shrimp was seasoned well but could’ve been cooked longer. the collards were tough and sweeter than candy. clearly they forgot to bake the mac and cheese smh. i won’t visit

I got the salmon platter which come with shrimp both AMAZING. They came on a bed of yellow rice which I loved. I got the green beans (really good) and collard greens(they were sweet so not a fan) as my sides. I ordered a side of the chili lime wings (I think that was the sauce) they were fire, like really good. I definitely recommend this place. The staff were really friendly.Order in advance to avoid the wait and take it to go, it’s really small and not well ventilated.
Establishment doesn’t pick up the phone/blatantly ignores the ringing even though they weren’t busy at all & ran out of fries over the weekend not anywhere close to the closing time. Drove three hours for disappointment.

I’ve been LuLu’s twice since they opened. Once within the first six months since they opened and a second (and last time) a year ago. On our first visit the food, the service and the atmosphere were great. One our second visit the young person taking our order couldn’t be bothered, the food was sub-par and the eating area was a mess (it’s wasn’t busy, the staff just hadn’t got around to cleaning up after previous diners). I’m hopeful that if I dare make a 3rd attempt, LuLu’s will have returned to their former glory. I do wish them luck…
