Lulu's Maryland-Style Chicken and Seafood

Great food wished they didn't run out of crab meat all the time, but that just shows how good the crab cakes are. First time trying the fish platter, and salmon and shrimp platter were both good and a good-sized piece of salmon

I had been wanting to try them for the longest because I heard so many great things about their food. I finally was able to and let me tell you the food was delicious. The customer service was great and the vibe was something you wanna be a part of. My first time going and I definitely will be returning.

And the crab cakes alone will keep me coming.

First time at Lulu’s.. Parking was horrible! Our waitress was good but we had to wait over an hour for our food. Our waitress did bring out some cornbread for the wait. After placing our order, we where informed that they ran out of collard greens so we got green beans. Then was informed they ran out of white meat had to substitute for wing dings. When the food finally arrived , it was lukewarm warm. The green beans taste like it came straight out of the can. Some of my chicken was raw. It was some are arguing going on in the kitchen. We ask for the manager. The manager never came out because they were short staff and it was only 2 cooks. The manager and one other person. We ask if the owner(s) was there. We where informed they have another location that about to open and they was was at that location. Our waitress never came back to the table. A gentleman did come to the table to assist, not sure what was his position. He took care of the situation the best he could. I felt so bad because I suggested the place for a few friends to hang out. Overall it was horrible experience! I don’t see myself returning!

We were here with a large group. I had the crab cakes and were just perfectly seasoned not breaded and super tasty. Everyone else loved their food too. That obviously know what they are doing here and they do it quite well. Service for large parties is not easy but I was blown away by how professional our server was. Granted, we had to wait a little longer than usual but that is to be expected. Besides once the food came out it's just so tasty that it made up for it. Simple food, well executed and great service. What more can you ask for. My new go to for seafood in this area.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!!!! I ordered the crab cake and shrimp dinner and everything was seasoned to perfection. I'm not a big fan of sweet collard greens, but I enjoyed them. They weren't too sweet. The service was great as well. The only draw back with my experience was the parking. This place was packed and appears to be popular spot for great food, but the parking lot doesn't allow for as many customers that come to enjoy a great meal. I will definitely be back the next time that I'm in Charlotte!!!

We were so excited to try this place and couldn't wait to get there! Everything was wonderful until my food arrived. As you can see they thought it was a good idea to serve me burnt food. They did make it right by bringing me another one. However, I was just taken by surprise that they would even bring that to the table.

The food is Delicious! Great service and beautiful ambiance! I'm sharing this spot with friends and family.

The amazing food, great ambience and Shay's great service was just the icing on the cake. She had 6 tables to wait and she didn't miss a beat! Cups were filled and she was patient and kind despite all the questions we had. Rock on Shay!!

Each time I have been here on 3 different times to the location on Tuckasegee food was cold not even Lukewarm and salmon cooked very dry.. had to bring back and I live on the other side town.Decided to try new location on Central Ave....same thing. Over cooked salmon ,cold food, and rice was hard ? nice atmosphere but server's had on wrinkled, dirty white tee shirts....presentation is everything. Same food different atmosphere

Enjoyed the sunshine and "Lulu's Maryland Style Chicken and Seafood's" new location on Central Ave w.my friend girl. Everything was tasty, the warm honey drizzled croissant rolls set the tone, the shrimp were fried to perfection and their famous crab cake was all lump crabmeat and little breading. All dinners are served w.yellow rice and come w.two sides. Now the collard greens were a little too sweet for me but the rice helped to tone down the sweetness. Overall it was a nice experience but on the pricey side. The restaurant is modern yet w.a minimalist decor, service was fast and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

Have heard abt this place for the longest and finally got a chance to try it. I had the Cajun salmon with greens and Mac. Everything was seasoned perfectly and delish. The cornbread tasted like a pound cake and I loved it but if you’re not into sweeter cornbread you definitely won’t like it.

We're from out of town. I lived in BMore for over a decade so I had high standards for the seafood. We ordered the shrimp n grits and the stuffed salmon. Our sides were Mac, Green Beans and Yams. ALL of our food was delicious!! And that house sauce... Slapped on top of my salmon! ? THE SHRIMP N GRITS THO!?!? Bay-beeee ??? Sorcery!! Our service was great and the prices were completely reasonable. We're stopping there again before we fly back!! LuLu's for the win!!

Had a great experience here once we were able to park and get seated! Good flavor on the shrimp and grits, fish and grits was also a good variation!TIP: Get there early because limited parking & seating
