If I could give ten stars it still wouldn't be enough. I've been coming to Lupitas for over a decade and can't believe its taken me this long to leave a review. I was turned onto Lupitas by recommendation while posting about my journey through the QC trying to find the best carnitas in the city. Let me tell you... that was the best recommendation I've ever received and Lupitas has become a regular part of my weekly rotation, celebrations, etc.. Don't walk...
The carnitas are some of the best I’ve ever had in Charlotte, perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. Their freshly made tortillas are soft, warm, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the wide selection of mexican sodas, candies, and snacks and cheeses, a great touch of authenticity.
The butcher counter has high-quality cuts, chorizos, chicharrones ant other type of meats.
Staff is friendly and helpful, a fantastic spot for mexican flavors.
