Mac Tabby Cat Cafe - Charlotte

Super cute cafe full of friendly cats! I highly recommend. It can be crowded, so if you're closer to Concord, I highly recommend that one.

My family had a great time visiting the Concord Mac Tabby Cafe!! Between the unique decor, wonderful atmosphere, delicious coffee and precious rescue kitties you can’t ask for a better afternoon! The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back again for more kitty love and great coffee.

Just would like to put a disclaimer that there’s a separate section where you pay to hangout with the cats. But they have the normal cafe section as well. But honestly I’m ok with that when I found out a lot of these cats were rescued. Very happy with my money going to a good cause. As for my experience there, fantastic. I was able to get work done while taking breaks to play with the adorable cats. And my girlfriend was entertained the whole time. If I’m ever in the area I would definitely come again.

Such an incredible spot! The cafe partners with the local shelter to help find homes for cats, and they’ve created a beautiful, enriching space for them to live and play. The drinks are fantastic, the service is top-notch, and I love the mission behind it all! 10/10

I went here with my sister and my friend today, I was slightly intimidated by some of the reviews but I’m glad I went! The drinks were very good for the price and everyone was super friendly. I went around 3pm and most of the cats were sleeping but I enjoyed playing with the ones that were full of energy! I would definitely go again and recommend this place to others! 5/5

As an autistic customer the atmosphere is very calm and not overwhelming. there are chances to interact with cats by yourself and with others. people and staff here are non-judgmental.
you are unable to pick up the cats, however they are very friendly and will come up to you. it’s clear that these kitties are well-cared for and that their needs are met. they are able to leave whenever they wish- but there are always multiple cats hanging around the humans in my experience.

Will never pay a cover charge at a cat cafe, defeats the whole purpose. You have a donation jar out at most.

Mac Tabby cat cafe was a fun stop while in NoDa. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. We got our drinks(amazing btw) and spent 30mins playing and interacting with the amazing cats they have on site. if we hadn't been visiting from out of state, we would have tried to go home with 3 of them. haha Definitely a great spot!

Got an iced chai tea latte with oat milk, quite tasty! We were there for the cats, so the drink was a nice bonus! They had a good beer selection too. They get new cats on Thursday, or that’s what we were told. So if you’re interested in adoption, they said Thursday am was the best time to come ?

my boyfriend surprised me with coffee and cat time last year for my birthday and i’ve been obsessed ever since. the entire vibe of the cafe/cat room is amazing and the decor is adorable! ALSO, the coffee is the best i’ve found in Charlotte. which is a big reason why i love the place so much, not to mention the cats! ??

Fantastic place! Would highly recommend to come visit - not just if your in the area, but make a trip! Don't worry, there's plenty else around as well.

Staff is fantastic, cats are amazing, drinks are great. Love this place and would recommend whether your looking to adopt, or just want a nice place to relax and pet a cat!
