The host was AMAZING we had a big party and they accommodated us quickly and efficiently. Our waitress J was awesome however the kitchen staff FAILED horribly with a few of the meals! The chicken and waffles were a hit! They didn’t have the chicken and dumplings soup which was a huge FAILED specifically because they failed to tell us instilled after we had been waiting WELL over 30 minutes for even the first meal to come out! All of the food was luke warm EXCEPT the fries which replaced the chicken and dumplings soup! The moonshine peach 5 dollar special shots were ALSO A HIT! So my REAL review #Hostess 11/10… Jay our waitress 10/10 (only because I feel the food should have been brought out as it became ready EVEN if the kitchen failed miserably) food taste 7/10 because my daughter loved her chicken and waffles! And my son didn’t LOVE the chicken. But overall the atmosphere was nice. Jay did have a lot to handle with our big group and some allergies BUT in my opinion SHE HANDLED HERSELF WELL UNDER STRESS AND ISSUES OUT OF HER CONTROL! I think I would go back but maybe not with a group and definitely not 2 hours to closing I think the kitchen staff probably gives up at that point and figure you get what you get!

Excellent food and excellent service. We came with a large party, as our basketball team was in town from California. James sat us in the VIP room. I’m still trying to find a way for them to bring a location to California. I had the brisket sandwich, the meat was juicy, great flavor and all the sauces we good. I can’t wait to come back!

I held off for like a week and sat on it, but I felt I needed to write this review. As a server myself, the service my friend and I received was less than ideal. It was a male server, I’m not sure what his name was however (he never introduced himself). The first thing he did was start commenting on my friend’s and my outfits. We were both wearing nice black dresses which was apparently too fancy for an establishment like this. He waited on my friend hand and foot, getting her drinks and making sure she had her food while I sat and waited for a water until my meal arrived. When my meal did arrive, 10 minutes after my friend’s had, my okra was burnt and my lettuce in my wrap was soggy, telling me it had sat in the window too long. The food and the service were mid at best, and after working in fine dining, I don’t think this is the place for me and will not be returning. Management? Maybe check on that server, he was one of the only male servers working on 12/27/24. He was also eating right in front of us? Not sanitary at all. So glad he got to eat his food while mine (that I paid for) sat in the window neglected. If you like mid service with 2/5 food, this is definitely the place for you. If not, don’t bother

Food was above average. Service was average ambience was decent, but it seemed not very cohesive. Looked like they tried a little too hard at a theme, but just couldn’t really strike a good cord with the ambience. That’s just my personal opinion. A strong personal opinion I have is that all of the barbecue sauces that they offered were bad, and I mean bad. I’ve had a lot of barbecue sauces in my lifetime and none of these that I personally enjoyed. I’m sure that there are individuals out there that do enjoy those barbecue sauces, but I am sure not one of them. Weak recommendation, because a barbecue establishment is it only as good as its meats and sauces.
