I held off for like a week and sat on it, but I felt I needed to write this review. As a server myself, the service my friend and I received was less than ideal. It was a male server, I’m not sure what his name was however (he never introduced himself). The first thing he did was start commenting on my friend’s and my outfits. We were both wearing nice black dresses which was apparently too fancy for an establishment like this. He waited on my friend hand and foot, getting her drinks and making sure she had her food while I sat and waited for a water until my meal arrived. When my meal did arrive, 10 minutes after my friend’s had, my okra was burnt and my lettuce in my wrap was soggy, telling me it had sat in the window too long. The food and the service were mid at best, and after working in fine dining, I don’t think this is the place for me and will not be returning. Management? Maybe check on that server, he was one of the only male servers working on 12/27/24. He was also eating right in front of us? Not sanitary at all. So glad he got to eat his food while mine (that I paid for) sat in the window neglected. If you like mid service with 2/5 food, this is definitely the place for you. If not, don’t bother

Food was above average. Service was average ambience was decent, but it seemed not very cohesive. Looked like they tried a little too hard at a theme, but just couldn’t really strike a good cord with the ambience. That’s just my personal opinion. A strong personal opinion I have is that all of the barbecue sauces that they offered were bad, and I mean bad. I’ve had a lot of barbecue sauces in my lifetime and none of these that I personally enjoyed. I’m sure that there are individuals out there that do enjoy those barbecue sauces, but I am sure not one of them. Weak recommendation, because a barbecue establishment is it only as good as its meats and sauces.

Hostess was very sweet and attentive!
Ordered 2 shrimp salads last night. Believe I was the last online order. I got a bit through mine before realizing there was no bacon in it as listed on the menu. I'll share a picture of my husband's. Over $15 for a salad that was missing an ingredient and having to pick through the lettuce was more than disappointing. His banana pudding was a majority of whipped cream and one banana. Delicious (but scarce) dressing and wings were good.

Recently went in with a large group for lunch. The staff was very courteous and gave us our own room to enjoy our event. The food was delicious and everyone was happy their meal. The Manager - Athena was very accommodating and it made for a great time. We have been back since!

The young ladies at the front door did a great job going over the menu for takeout.(they were about to close)The bartender reeled me in for two quick drafts while I waited for my food. Tuesday is a great night- 2$ off drafts. I got to the crib and enjoyed a great sandwich - I appreciated the bartender suggesting the sauce because it set off the sandwich. No complaints. I wiil definitely be back on a Tuesday.

In many past meals, food has been great. I'm disappointed this week, tho. St. Louis ribs dry/chewy. I spoke with the manager, who was very cordially responsive and I was given a credit for the first time. Went back 2nd time and the same dry/chewy rib experience happened. Either Christmastime is not the time for ribs or something else caused the unusual condition of the ribs. May be best not to sell them vs. taking a chance at losing a long-term customer.

We had an issue locating a catering order and after I spoke to the manager (Ratcliffe) he went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we got ahold of our order. We are not surprised to get such great service because we have visited this location a number of times and have always gotten great food/service.
