This is my new favorite spot to order breakfast. They serve it all day. The portions are huge and everything is always hot. I enjoy getting eggs, livermush, hashbrowns, biscuit, and a side of gravy. This place rocks!

Finally found another old school diner in Charlotte. Our server was fantastic and funny. Service great. Huge portions for the price. You won't walk out hungry. Ordered corned beef hash. It was cooked the classic way of crispy outside but soft inside. Grits were cooked soft. Looking forward to next time to going back.

My first time trying Maria’s Grill breakfast and it did not disappoint. Fluffy pancakes, real scrambled eggs! I got the #1 Pancake Breakfast. It was delicious!

I’ve come to Maria’s multiple times over the past few years and it’s always crowded and overpacked! Today I placed an order over the phone and spelled out my last name (Barnes) I was told 15-20 min which I ignored because the food is never done on time. I arrive and state my name for pickup- I am told it’s not ready. After waiting 15 minutes I ask a waitress to check on an order for Barnes. She returns to tell me there isn’t an order in the system for that name and asks the lady at the front to check. She proceeds to ask me what I had in the order and says it’s under “Lauren”. It’s a little disappointing that they were so busy no one thought to ask me earlier what was in my order after no one picked up the orders piling up by the register. It’s sad I took the time to spell out my name and it was still under the wrong name. Today I wasted over 20 minutes for cold food …

Today must have been an off day. Hair in my container. And I ordered liver mush and got sausage patties instead.
The first time I came here the food was great, I actually had the same waitress, (don’t want her again) however the second time my dad and I must’ve came at the wrong time, we ordered the the fish and grits w/eggs, we both requested eggs scrambled soft, mine with cheddar cheese and fish fried well. The food took a long time to come out and my dad had to get up an walk around be the chair was hard wood, another waitress that was not our original one opt to bring him a chair with cushions, she was very nice. Well the food finally came out and the fish didn’t look like perch it was given (frozen something) and look as it had been sitting in the basket waiting to be dropped in the grease (basket lines on fish) on top of that I bit into the fish and it was hard, turned it over and it was burnt black, the waitress stated you said well, and I said well NOT burnt and opted for the turkey sausage! The eggs was scrambled hard af, my eggs had cheddar cheese on top and American cheese on the bottom, I also had hash browns with onions they came out plate full of grease and onions on top, sent those back for home fries the taste like the had been sitting on the grill waiting for someone to order them, the waitress was a bit smart at the mouth when I was telling her about the quality of the food! I will refuse to sit in her area I ever evisit again!

This place is price gouging ain’t no way two sandwiches and an orange juice is $20. I could’ve gotten a whole meal at Bojangles for that family meal at that.
