Loved Asia! She really took care of us with excellent charisma! Food was great! Highly recommend the pancakes!
The atmosphere was amazing, loved the food , and our server Asia made the experience top tier!
Just had lunch at Mariposa. Enjoyed the food and the service was okay. I was shell shocked when I received the bill. $77 for lunch for 2 people is outrageous. We got a salad and a bowl with iced tea to drink. They charge for refills on iced tea and they put a 20% gratuity on the bill then asked for an additional tip in addition to a 3% service charge for paying with a credit card. This is the definition of a nickle and dime establishment. I was trying it out for future business lunches but definitely won’t be returning.
Cindy B was our wait person and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. From 3-5 on weekdays they have something similar to “happy hour.”
Ask for Nathan Ely, absolutely great service!
Great live music during Sunday brunch, attentive bar service and the hostess could run circles around most of her contemporaries.
Amazing food ,service and atmosphere
Cindy was absolutely phenomenal. She had perfect recommendations for our group and overall made our experience so memorable. We are visiting from out of town, next time I’m in Charlotte I will absolutely be coming back to see Cindy!
I went yesterday and it was a total miss. The pita was stale and smelled sour (note it was not sourdough), there were maybe 3 small pieces of chicken inside it was like they had a tiny piece that they tried to shred up and make look bigger. The tzatziki was watery and made everything soggy. The saddest part was they had these chunky potato wedges instead of fried and they were sub par. We saw our waiter twice, and we never had our drinks refilled. I likely wont be going back and would not recommend.

Food seems to have shifted in quality. More fried things than last visit.

Our server was great. The ambiance was very cool. Our food was seasoned perfectly, tasted great...but everything we ordered arrived to the table lukewarm at best. This was disappointing.
The Mariposa hits all the marks: great food, great service and great location.
It is located in the heart of Charlotte, attached to the Mint museum. You can walk around and experience Charlotte in all its glory. Great place.
Highly recommended.

This place is more the hype of it and where it’s at, than the actual quality of the food. This restaurant overall was very beautiful and caught the eye, it also has nice live music. Drinks were okay and refreshing. The food.. not the best, overpriced and came to the table cold. I got the Peruvian chicken bowl and the chicken was dry and without any flavor. Definitely my food was not worth its price.. customer service was okay, felt the server was only going to another specific table more than others. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to Mariposa
