The venue itself is nice and the service was good. Our server was really sweet and tried to be accomodating, but the drinks were a bit weak for you to be adding an automatic 20% gratuity.
Now, the DJ—trash. I know the hallmarks of a good DJ and unfortunately he was not one. The mixing and blending of songs were horrible, because he barely did that, and of the actual songs he played, the order did not make sense. You would vibe to a song then right after he would play a totally different genre and throw you off. He didn’t play sets of current music, but played a lot of older music—perhaps to coincide with the 60+ demographic that were in high numbers that night.
Also, Marquee mentions a dress code, but based on what I saw—there was none. Sagging pants, t-shirts and jordans and lingerie, definitely don’t qualify for upscale and I definitely wasn’t feeling it that night.

Last night was first time and I have a couple of thoughts: Pros: it is super cute and nice looking lounge. Def looks like a great place to hang and vibe Security was nice Parking was free Waitress was great Cons: The DJ. Horrible. He was trying to mix songs and it was not happening. He would play out of sequence songs. You could not catch a vibe at all. No bangers. The drinks. Watered down. Super sweet no alcohol Menu. The usual salmon bites and lamb chops Ages. I am in my mid 40s. Why were there 70 yr olds in there? Lots of em. And a couple of YNs. Dress code. I was excited to see there was a dress code per their website. Not enforced at all. There were sneakers, slides, drawers shown by men and women. It was not giving upscale. Automatic gratuity. 20% I saw this on the site, but what if I am not getting service that warrants 20%? Three cocktails and a soda later, not only was I sober af, but it cost me $56.
Nope. Not happening again.

Let’s start with free parking for the win! The vibe here is lovely, the waitresses on point and attentive. The drinks…wayyyy too damn expensive. I spent $20 on a 4oz mixed drink, my friend spent $25 because she used her card and her drink was less than mine, they also add gratuity to each order and they overcharged her card…twice. Maybe I’m frugal but that’s just too expensive for me. We didn’t eat but the menu and the food looked amazing.

We had a blast! The jerk squad was too spicy for me but everyone else loved it. The DJ on Friday night is amazing. He wasn’t just playing line dances like some of these DJs are doing. It was a mixed mature crowd. At least 35 and up. Definitely recommend. If you have a group, make a reservation.

Last night was my first time here & I had a horrible experience. I had 2 Strawberry Margaritas & some Buffalo wings. Not too long after I ate the food & had my 2 drinks, I started getting sick. My stomach was hurting & I was feeling weak. I started throwing up. I threw up twice & been sick all day today, as well as the 2 People that was there with me. They are sick today too, throwing up & can’t eat.
