This location was once my weekly spot. The management and customer service once was stellar. I had lunch there today with my husband, we ordered our usual choose 2. I get nachos every visit. So it was the Ultimate Nachos with veggie chili all toppings on the side. I noticed the cheese mix was taco cheese, it was not just the straight cheddar. I asked the manager and apparently they had both but”we’re not using it until all of this is gone.” What?? So, the atmosphere was a 1 because 0 is not available. There were dirty dishes on every other table.
So what’s the bright spot! The food was okay and correct and the cashier was the best. Last piece of advise for management when a customer ask for utensil don’t ask questions start with a fork.

I come to this location at least once a month. The food is good and the service is usually quick. My issue is that a lot of the time the restaurant isn’t the cleanest. Sometimes it is hard to find a clean table to sit at. The bathrooms are mot always clean either with dirty sinks and trash in the floor. I was in there for over an hour and none of these tables were cleared and cleaned.

Blakeney location. Fri evening 1/3/25. Popular shopping center, should have been busier. But I know what it is. Extremely bright and icy-white light bulbs in every single fixture - not warm and inviting. Crazy changes to menu. No more middle of the road bacon spud with cheese and bacon. You either have to buy a plain potato’s for $7.99 and add $2 bacon and $2 cheese OR get the profit-maxxing Max, Steak, or Chicken at $12 a pop. So opted for the plain plus bacon, a Max, bowl of soup and 3 teas. $46. Crazy. It seems like you used to at least get a bag of chips. Potato was not warm enough to melt the butter. Staff was very nice though. Leaving core products and moderate prices behind + cold dining room and atmosphere, I suspect the same thing will happen with McAlisters as what happened with Jason’s Deli—they’ll start closing locations and eventually honoring business. Too bad.

Tuesday 12.24.24 we stopped for lunch on our way travelling to visit family. Wow!!!!!!!!! Excellent food. Fantastic service! This is a super, well run, clean, friendly McAlister's Deli. The food was fantastic. We used to have a McAlister's near our home in Florida, but it closed during COVID and did nor reopen. We wish that they would put a restaurant in Oviedo Florida - that closed location was not a good location for a McAlister's. Anyway, we highly recommend this restaurant for soup, salad and a sandwich.
Terrible General Manager. Unprofessional, rude, condescending, with no apparent people skills. Won't be returning. Good luck at this location with that kind of attitude as your store leadership.

This place has gone down hill. We ate at the restaurant a couple of weeks ago and asked for butter for a spud. They brought 1 small pack. My avocado was browning already, so I didn’t eat it. Ordered takeout from them last night and got the chili. Horrible mistake. Tasted like someone dumped a container of salt in it. I took two bites and threw it in the trash. Called the restaurant and they said they were having some issues with some of their other soups. Add the chili to the list. Never going back to this location.

We waited over 50 minutes for our food. Not even half of the restaurant was full. My wife went up to check on our food and they didn't even have our order. Absolutely disgraceful. We got our food voided and left.

I ordered potato soup and a french dip sandwich. First, their resister tries to get you to tip for takeout. Second, the potato soup taste like sour cream and vinegar, so it went in the trash. Third, the dip sauce for the sandwich wasn't in the bag. Three strikes and I won't go back - ever.
