The worst coffee shop ever.
We ordered 4 type of coffee Americano , Cappuccino, Macchiato and a Frapp The first 3 where terrible. No taste of coffee in the drinks. We returned the cups as they are.
The guy that was attending the place was sitting on a chair and his feet were raised and rested on the countertop. Very disgusting.

Ordered two drinks, both were ridiculously sweet. I went back and asked the barista to kindly remake with less sugar, she only topped with frothed milk which made is tasteless and milky. Both cups went straight to trash.

Stopped in for a coffee drink.
The young barista lady made the best machiato I've had in a long time and was very helpful.Thank you very much!

I was at Northlake Mall to pick up my Bath & Body order. My next stop is Mean Mug Coffee for Hot Coco whipped. So good and soothing!

We stopped for what we thought would be a quick breakfast stop, turned into a hour long. Left two of our orders off and we had to ask twice before we finally got them to go. No apology at all. First and last for us.

I only drink black coffee and got the americano with PB flavor and it’s delicious definitely recommended.

I come here for coffee and bring my own ingredients. I think it's weird that they don't have half & half (real milk!) or other popular sugars/flavors at a coffee shop, or etc. It's like they're surprised people add things to their coffee and only have a few scraps of minimal (and almost empty) options to choose from. The employees are nice and I am still coming back wishing for more.

Just discovered while passing through Charlotte and it is amazing! Lucky to receive my coffee from the franchise owner herself and get some of the awesome story. Incredible espresso and lattes along with art and merch. Ended up picking up a painting by a local artist and a Mean Mug T-shirt in addition to my double espresso and Golden Latte - all of which were excellent. Thank you, Mean Mug, for turning around a rough weekend! I will be back anytime I’m in the area.

Waited for 5 minutes to be acknowledged while the bistro was making a drink. Still waited another 20 minutes after that for 2 iced coffees. Sad thing was, there was only 2 customers in front of us.

2nd floor- not 1st (there is a small stand on 1st floor)- nearest to Entry #5
The hot latte was okay (a little weak on the espresso pull). Iced Matcha latte was very good, a touch sweeter than I’m used to- I would order with a little less sweetener.

The cinnamon crunch muffin was moist and delicious- highly recommend!

The location is great- in a quiet place in the mall- it has a little seating, with more just outside the door, or couches down the stairs in the atrium.

Definitely worth giving a try! Many options to choose from.

Parking: Plenty of parking- recommend you go near pole C42 if you’re specifically coming for coffee!
