I scheduled a party of 20 people for 12/18 at 6p. I booked this on 12/11, a week in advance. I originally booked it with an employee by the name of Kim, followed up and spoke with Santana to modify the party size to 15 people, and spoke with another employee to pre-order the food. I spoke with multiple employees since the 11th (when I originally booked). The day before my party 12/17, I was asked by one of your employees to move my party up 15 to 30 minutes earlier. I agreed and then I told my guest and they said that the original time 6p works better for them. I called the day of my party 12/18 as soon as you opened at 11a and told another employee that the time they wanted me to move it to at 5:45p did not work since I had already told all my guests 6p.. A manager by the name of Tasha then got on the phone and stated that the day I booked my party 12/18 was the same day of their employee party in Concord, and that the time all together did not work because we needed to be out by 6:30p. I told her that was unacceptable! I talk to way too many employees within a weeks time for no one to advise me of an employee party on the same day until the day before, and even then they only mentioned possibly moving the party up not that we had to be out in less than an hour or cancel. didn’t say we had to be out so early. I also advised her that I spoke to multiple employees since 12/11 (when I originally booked) and this is a first that someone’s telling me about the conflicting schedules. This was a major inconvenience to myself as well as all my guests, especially considering we are celebrating an 18th birthday, a huge milestone. Tasha did eventually apologize and explained that Kim had only been there a week or so as an employee. I understand that, however, that does not change how badly the situation was handled. — Also, Tasha stated she would email me her contact information so we are well taken care of in the future. Needless to say, she never sent me her information..

Must say I had a great experience. They something we both liked. Vegan menu and vegetable toppings pizza. Waitress was polite and very helpful. If you're in the Uptown area of Charlotte, NC it's a must visit spot if like great pizza.

This place had the sloooooowest service ever. Almost an hour for 2 small pizzas. The place wasn’t even busy. The beer was warm. I’ve been to a lot of mellow mushrooms and this was unexpectedly terrible.

Waited an hour and forty five minutes before we left. Ordered cheesy bread and 3 pizzas that never came. The waiter never came by to check on us and the one time he did (after an hour of us waiting), he asked if we wanted refills but never came back. Didn't get a refill on the drinks at all. Sat there with an empty glass of ice the whole time. It took our group of 8 leaving for our food to finally come out of the kitchen (we were literally about to cross the road when the waiter came running out to say the pizzas were ready)

This was only my second time going to a mellow mushroom, and it will be my last. Sitting there for almost 2 hours watching while others are eating and getting their food/drinks isn't an ideal experience at all, and I went home hungry.

I would stay away from this location at all costs. Stopped in to grab dinner after a panthers game 11/24/24, obviously knew it was going to be busy and expected a long wait. The host/hostess said we were looking at an hour which again was no biggie considering there was a line out the door when we arrived. So strike number one, we are a family of 4, another family of 4 behind us in line proceeded to tip the hostess to get seated in front of everyone and sure enough they did. The host/hostess also proceeded to seat some their “friends” before everyone else too. To each their own, but shame on the hostess for taking the money and I hope management sees this and takes proper disciplinary action. Now after about a 45 minute wait we were seated, not quite the hour that we were expecting so could easily look past the bribing of from the people that got seated before us. Our waiter took our drink order brought the drinks back in a timely fashion and then took our order. We ordered 2 gluten free pizzas as one of our kids has celiac and the other was for someone who just doesn’t like to eat gluten, we also ordered a regular crust medium pepperoni pizza. After a few minutes of discussing the servers allergy in comparison to our sons allergy the server then proceeded to put our order in. Now here is strike 2, a while has passed by and our server comes by and says I think your order should be coming up shortly. Again not a big deal as I know they were busy, hence the hour wait to sit down, so no biggie. Then about 45 after we sat down the server comes to us and starts apologizing repeatedly that he has no idea why our food hasn’t come out yet. Mind you the entire time we as a family have been very understanding of the situation and not really sure why the server is apologizing so much, it’s busy we understand. After about an hour after sitting down our food comes out but there’s a problem, one of the gluten free pizzas was entered incorrectly as just an “allergy” so was prepared as dairy free. The other pizzas were prepared as they should be, but unfortunately the persons pizza that was incorrect was the one who has celiac. So the manager said they will put an urgent refire for the gluten free pizza, oh and this is just a gluten free “cheese” pizza. That ended up taking about another 30 minutes. Again, people make mistakes, it’s busy, shit happens, but we have now been at this establishment for well over 2 hours pushing into 3. Now here is strike 3, I’m not one who looks at getting anything for free, but when you’ve been at an establishment for almost 3 hours, been jumped in front of in line by money and friendship, and you finally get your order and the one person who needs it to be correct is wrong some sort of compensation should have been offered, but all we got were a lot of apologies. We paid our bill and I still tipped normal 20% as I know it was busy and not all faults fall on a server, but I people read this and take this into consideration when making a choice to eat at this locations.

We went here after the Panthers football game. We knew it would be busy but the only person that received their food was my wife and it was the wrong pizza. She ate it anyway because she was hungry but myself and my kids did not receive our food after two hours. The server kept apologizing for the delay but we left without our food. We paid for our drinks and the one pizza and gave him a decent tip as it wasn't his fault that the pizzas weren't made. According to the server Mellow Mushroom accepted a catering order after we placed our order and were working on that order before ours. Unacceptable management.

Worst service we’ve ever had at a Mellow!! Completely infuriating. Waited an HOUR for soup and wings. Finally brought ONLY the soup…cold. Asked a manager to please heat for me and she took it back to the kitchen then went and hung out at the hostess stand. 🤯 Ten minutes later I tracked her down and asked if I could have my soup back. She went and got it.

STILL no wings. Or the pizza we ordered only 15 minutes later. 🤦🏼‍♀️ AWFUL! Other ppl were leaving without being served. We gave up and asked to close our tab with a refund. STILL WAITING FOR THAT!
