Mellow Mushroom Charlotte-Uptown

Haven't been to a Mellow Mushroom in years! We went to the Charlotte FC game and wanted to come earlier so we could eat before kickoff. The service was good for as busy as they were. Pizza was great and the new pizza egg roll things were pretty tasty. The pizza was a little on the greasy side but with the amount of cheese was on the pizza, it was understandable! We'll be back.

We visited after. Carolina Panthers football game, it was just as t the end of their post game rush and we had been between two different servers. There was a big mess up with our order, but we received a free pizza while we waited for the issue to be resolved. Order of wings also never arrived but they were happy to remove from the bill (as they should). In the end we had a great time as we were also taking in some beverages which were delivered as ordered. :-)

Pizza crust had good flavor and chew. Good variety of specialty pizzas, although I have a hard time ordering anything other than the Holy Shiitake because it is so good.

Went to visit for my kids birthday and they are closed. It's 8/26 and there is a sign on the window saying they are closed for maintenence 8/21-8/5. Not cool

I absolutely love Mellow Mushroom pizza – I even drove 40 minutes one way today because I was craving it after loving it last time. But when I got there, the store was closed with just a notice saying it was shut down for maintenance.

The frustrating part is that Google Maps still showed the store as open. At the very least, they could have updated their hours online so customers don’t waste their time and end up spoiling their day like I did.

The pizza is amazing, but this experience really ruined my weekend mood. I hope they communicate better with their customers going forward.

We love Sam!

We stop by while we were out biking. They accommodate our request to sit in view of our bike. The service was great and they had a good vegan menu for our vegan friends.

Def not worth the money, they charge $11 for the spinach dip and its nothing. I used to be able to share it with 2 other people and now its this portion.
