Mellow Mushroom Charlotte - Ballantyne

Been there several times and the service is nice and consistent, the servers are very nice, friendly, kind and professional. the servers are always on top of everything, the food is so yummy and good portions, one of my very favorites is the pretzel bites with the chesses sauce, the house special pizza is very good with good and fresh ingredients, also good variety of drinks and specials, love the good music too.

I'm a fan of all mellow mushrooms, but this location has a good vibe to it inside and always has great service and staff.

Awesome pizza!

The food was greasy and the dough was too thin can't hold the toppings. Couldn't finish the pizza it was so greasy made my belly hurt. Just a big mess I had to use a fork. But the staff was absolutely amazing and super friendly to my family.

We were seated immediately which was surprising for a Friday night. I have always liked mellow mushroom and was not disappointed. Food and drink were good as was the service

Love they have vegan options. Very tasty. Daily specials and happy hour are worthwhile. Friendly staff.

I was very disappointed with this place. We walked in, and the music was loud. There
were dirty dishes and whatever they used to spray the tables with after customers' meal on the same table.
Our waitress was so young that she twirled her hair whenever she spoke, it was very unamusing

I did curbside pick up order. Anastasia was so condescending and very rude to me and my family. I couldn’t find the pick up area. It was my first time there. She belittled me and hung up in my face instead of trying to help. She acted as though she couldn’t find part of my order and finally brought it out with another nice young lady. Me and my family had such a tough day losing someone and we just wanted a quick meal to ease our night. I’m sure she never would have known what we were experiencing. But, no one deserves to be treated like how she treated us- no matter the circumstances. I will honestly never be back because of her. Kindness and respect goes a long way- and she showed none of that.

This is the first time we have been to the Ballantyne Mellow Mushroom and it was disappointing compared to others we have been to. It took over an hour to get our food and there was no wait and plenty of open tables. The smash burgers were over cooked (burnt) and the tater tots were undercooked. We paid extra for cheese on our burgers and there was barely any cheese on them. Kids meals came 15 minutes after everyone else had waited over an house for their food. The pizza for the older kids was good. Sadly we will not be going back to this location.

Went a few weeks back with a couple of friends. It was my first time going so I thought the place was cool. Loved that they had a Menorah at the front, few places show that kind of inclusivity. The food was great! Slight error while making it but the server was super understanding and was quick to fix it! Loved everything, will definitely come again

I recommend the Holy mushroom, exceptional. Wow! Incredible pizza!!! They have some incredible unique options and I had 3 of them, all absolutely incredible. It’s cool inside, a unique restaurant. I was very happy wi try the food. Or waitress wasn’t really that nice, she had the full attitude that the she didn’t want to be there and didn’t add to the experience. Overall it’s more about the food and it was incredible, totally worth it! One problem is (see picture) they only make you wash your hands, feet are optional ; )

Parking: You have to do a little shopping and maybe a short walk but there is parking.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of fun designs inside, and then hello, there’s pizza!

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible maybe curbs would be slightly difficult and the ground is bunny brick outside the restaurant.

We had pizza and meatballs. It was a good experience. The pizza was very tasty and had a solid amount of toppings. The meatballs were a little dry and dense for my taste. However they were flavorful and had a quality taste.

Stopped in here with a friend to grab a quick lunch. Everyone was super nice and kind. They were just opening when we got there but they gave us speedy service. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Food is delicious as always and we even got a special they had for breast cancer awareness.
