The food is absolutely delicious. I get the same thing every time i come here, Abura Soba. My only complaint is that all the cooks use their bare hands and grab the food they are preparing with their friends. They should be using gloves to handle food. I thought that was mandatory!

The ramen is great, but the abura soba here is of a quality that is hard to find even in Korea. If you come here, be sure to try Nagoya Taiwanis Abura Soba! The seasoning and toppings are good, but the quality and texture of the homemade noodles are amazing. If you keep adding the homemade kelp vinegar and chili oil little by little, the flavor is crazy, but mixing it with the remaining sauce and a little bit of rice given at the end is truly heaven. Really, whenever I come to Charlotte, I definitely come to eat this.

It's easy to sit down and order online with your phone, and the service is good.

The only downside is that sometimes the parking lot at the mall is full and it is difficult to find a parking spot.

Ramen is so oily! Do yourself a favor go to Jinya’s you’ll be happier

Today, we visited this place for the first time. It was pretty nice and clean. As soon as we walked in, we liked it right away. They told us we’d have to wait about 5-10 minutes. We waited for around 3-4 minutes, and then we were seated. The entire order process is done online, which is really convenient. You just scan the QR code on the table and place your order. The food came out pretty quickly. My wife and I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen, and Don Kumakaze got kids’ ramen. We also ordered drinks. Overall, the ramen was really tasty. Our daughter ate almost all of her kids’ ramen. The Tonkotsu ramen was very flavorful, with the spices perfectly balanced. Overall, we were really happy with this place. Next time we’re in Charlotte, we’ll definitely stop by again. It’s now saved on my favorites list.

Kid-friendliness: We were really pleased that they had a selection of kids’ ramen, because many places don’t offer that option, and we end up ordering a regular ramen for our child, of which they only eat about 15%. Here, they have smaller portions that are more affordable and simpler in terms of spices, making them perfect for kids.

Menya has set a new standard for what is considered excellent ramen. Personal favorite is the Nagoya Taiwanese. 10/10 would recommend

Kick Stop!

Good food. Really uncomfortable seats though. I am over 40, so maybe applies to the older generation :)

The Abura Sobas (aka dry ramen) and the chicken sandos are probably the most underrated and slept on items on their menu. Yes, the ramen bowls were great, but the Sobas and sandos are what really separates them from all the other ramen shops you might've gone to.

Hands down best ramen in the city. Nothing even comes close.

The broth is thick with an amazing, rich umami flavor and the noodles have a nice bite to them. The chicken is cooked well too.

They are definitely expensive which I don’t love and I don’t like that you can’t switch out the meat free of charge, but hey, for ramen this good, I can’t complain too much.

This location has delicious ramen offerings with a minimal amount of personalization and clarification of the orders. You actually scan the QR code on the table and place your order and pay for the merchandise before even consuming it. This location has a really unique culture that I enjoy and definitely is worth the price.
