My husband and I came here last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and we had such a great time. We saw some reviews saying folks weren’t let in for not being “appropriately dressed,” but there were folks in everything from cutoff jeans and chacos to literal gowns and Gucci slides, so it seemed like a pretty “everyone who can afford a $17 cocktail is welcome” kind of vibe. The young guy facilitating entry was super friendly and adorable (had a colorful tattoo on his arm and wore a black t shirt and sneakers), gave us an awesome first impression. Our server Ashna was so sweet. Our only complaint concerned bartender Justin who had a very nasty attitude toward us and other customers and made extremely rude comments in front of us to other customers. We considered leaving after that interaction but ended up very happy we stayed as the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and the food and cocktails were just awesome.

Check your staff!My evening was marred by the awful attitude of the waitress serving outside on the deck on April 6th. Yes the short, blonde with the big deriere.I placed my glass down on the table she had just arrived at. She looked at me with disgust, so I asked her “what her problem was” and she had the nerve to tell me that “I was rude”.One day that attitude of hers will collide with the wrong person!Do better!

I can see that a lot of people have complained about this already and I need to add my voice to it. There was a waitress who was very rude, unprofessional and refused to take care of our table. I called her once and asked for her help . She mumbled something and never stopped by our table even though she walked past us several times. I don't know her name but she worked on the evening of 4/10/24.I did call to report her attitude and lack of professionalism to a Manager Michael wo was wonderful ! Michael was very apologetic polite and tended to our table the rest of the evening white the rude waitress walked around unconcerned. Michael knows who she is because I pointed her out to him. Thank you Michael for turning things around for us and making our evening better. I will be back because of you.Whoever the owner of this business is, that waitress is ruining your business!

We went last night for my daughter's 22nd birthday and it was AWFUL!!! We got asked to leave bc we were standing at the fire pit inside near the dj stand. I was standing there watching my daughter and her friend dancing. I was freezing cold bc the door to the rooftop was open. I wasn't blocking anyone. A rude employee asked me to move bc of a pregnant employee that needed room. I wasn't even on the same side as that employee at the front desk. Not sure if the employees didn't like my age and that's why they wanted me to leave or what their deal was. I am 52 years old minding my own business and I was so cold. All I wanted to do was watch my daughter and her friend dance and I got asked to leave. Will not be going back ever!! I am pretty new to Charlotte so I have been twice... once was a work event when my company had their holiday party at the Kimpton Hotel and this time. VERY disappointing !!
First time here in charlotte after about 12 years or more. This place was such a vibe! Everyone’s energy was great, the employees were also really friendly and welcoming. Definitely enjoyed it at night time! I’d say when it’s cold get a table where you plan to order food and drinks to be around the heaters. But I’d definitely go back when I’m back here!

During a recent business trip to Charlotte, we ended up at this bar on a Saturday night with a group of other conference attendees. Just about the only thing I thought was worthwhile was the view from the top. Other than that it was your typical purple lights, twenty somethings trying to look cool, way too loud, overpriced gimmicky drinks kind of place. Upon entering, the first thing you are assaulted by is a "DJ" spinning music that is super super super loud to the point where you can't even have a conversation unless you move away to the outside areas. The speakers are set up like right on top of the bar and the "dance area" was basically a 10 x 10 section in front of the DJ. The whole time we were there, there was one solitary guy going hard, trying to get the attention of a group of ladies sitting nearby... hoping to seduce one to join him. Which was actually comical and somewhat entertaining in a cringe way. They acted like he was invisible (alas, his moves weren't very good) but this did not deter him. He was in it to win it. There is some nice seating around the periphery if you want to grab a table and maybe be able to talk to/hear your companion(s) while enjoying the view (which is beautiful). There is an adjoining section we didn't make it over to which looked like more of an outdoor lounge (maybe eating?) area. We spent about an hour in the bar section and honestly I was totally over it after my first drink. Pretty boring. Seemed like any other untz untz untz untz bar scene: girls with all their bits barely covered trying to act like they don't notice the guys trying to buy them drinks. *Yawn*
