The food is great. However, they di not know their inKind app works with their location. I used my inKind App to pay for my order but they claimed it didn't go through when it was shown on my end that it did. The person whom I guess was in charge claimed it didn't go through on their end. And had me pay AGAIN with my debit card. I was extremely upset about this and she tells me to contact corporate for a refund. Well I've contacted them several times and have yet to get a response or my money back. This place is double dipping in getting paid. They're getting money from inKind and the customer because they claim it didn't go through on their end when it did work in the customers app. They need the get this fixed before I EVER go back there to spend money. IF I EVER GO BACK! I WANT MY REFUND THEY OWE ME. Because their corporate site is a black hole that goes to no one that never responds.

BEWARE OF USING THE INKIND APP AT THIS LOCATION. THEY TAKE YOUR CREDIT FROM INKIND AND MAKE YOU PAY AGAIN WITH YOUR CARD BECAUSE THE CLAIM THE INKIND CREDIT DIDN'T GO THROUGH WHEN IT CLEARLY SHOWS UP ON YOUR APP THAT IT WENT THROUGH. SO THEY SCAM YOU BY TELLING YOU THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM INKIND BUT INKIND DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REFUND AMY MONEY YOU PAID BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD BECAUSE YOU PAID IT DIRECTLY TO MEZEH NOT INKIND. SO IF YOU DON'T DISPUTE IT YHEY WILL GET TWO PAYMENTS OIT OFET YOU. I DISPUTED BUT INKIND COULD ONLY REFUND MY CREDIT BACK. SO MEZEH STILL MADE ME PAY FOR A MEAL THE WAS ESSENTIALLY SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN TECHNICALLY FREE SINCE I USE A CREDIT FROM THE APP. THE REFUND FROM INKIND WAS A COURTESY BUT MEZEH DOESN'T SEEM TO THINK THEY SHOULD REFUND ME ANY BECAUSE INKIND PUT MY CREDIT BACK ON MY APP. JUST FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OF ALL OF THIS, THEY SHOULD REFUND ME FULLY. THIS WAS AN ERROR ON THEIR EMPLOYEES END BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THE INKIND APP. THEY CLAIMED THE TRANSACTION DIDN'T GO THROUGH BUT IN ORDER FOR THEM TO NOT REFUND MY MONEY BACK ON MY DEBIT CARD,THEY SEEM TO BE ABLE.TO LOCATE THE REFUND AND THE PAYMENT FROM INKIND AFTER THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE INVESTIGATED IT. WHICH GOES BACK TO MY INITIAL COMPLAINT. THE EMPLOYEE IS SAY THE INKIND PAY DIDN'T GO THROUGH WHEN IT ACTUALLY DID AND THEY CAN LOCATE IT ON THE BACK END BUT YET STILLAKE PEOPLE PAY A SECOND TIME WITH THEIR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD. THEY ARE A SCAM AND THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLE'S MONEY BY DOING THIS. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME IN THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. GREED WILL BE THEIR DOWNFALL MARK MY WORDS!

I went back and re-read the last email I received from Mezeh on January 15th and they claimed i used my inKind App credit at 10:50am then again at 9:50pm the same day. That is a complete lie. So this PROVES MY POINT ON THEM STEALING. HOW CAN I USE IT WHEN I HAVEN'T BEEN BACK TO MEZEH SUNCE THAT MORNING. WHEN THEY ARE CALLED OUT THEY STILL DON'T BELIEVE IN MAKING IT RIGHT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. AFTER ALL OF THIS, I SHOULD HAVE THE REFUND BACK TO MY DEBIT CARD AND AT LEAST OFFERED A FREE MEAL FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND THE MESS THEY MADE. THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER FOCUSED BUSINESS. IT'S A MONEY HUNGRY BUSINESS THAT DOESN'T BELIEVE IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT FOR THE CUSTOMERS WHO DO SPEND MONEY THERE. MIND YOU I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS SINCE DECEMBER 21ST AND STILL NO RESOLVE. GOES TO SHOW THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN REFUNDS OR MAKING IT RIGHT AT ALL. THEY WANT TO FIGHT YOU TOOTH AND NAIL JUST TO NOT GIVE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK. Love the food here. Very fresh, tasty and worth it for the price. It is a very big bowl, you can choose a lot of toppings. Just be aware that if you do half and half protein they count double. We did not know first time we went there and the server did not warn us. I am from Turkey and it reminds me of the food from home. Also, they don’t use seed oils if you’re careful about that! Atmosphere is simple, but clean. I would totally recommend!

Capital Heights,MD. I just had the worst experience I have ever had. I had a representative tell me her app not working was not her problem and I quote “ I don’t want to deal with you just take the sandwich” I did not come to get a free meal. I was trying to use my birthday coupon that expires tomorrow. The manager was not on duty. After my experience 3 customers walked out. No excuse for this bad behavior. I will speak with the manager as soon as possible. No one deserves this kind of treatment.
I went to dinner at 7:15pm on a weekday. This was my first visit. There is absolutely NO reason why they were out of food. My friend and I ordered and the worker informed us they were out of some sort of chicken and the lamb. He then failed to mention that they were also out of 3 other ingredients specifically in the bowl my friend ordered, in addition to the sauce that came with that bowl and the sauce he suggested. He then said they didn’t have any avocados, but that he could check in the back, “but…” So my friend said, yes, she wanted him to check. Lo and behold, avocados! Imagine that! Ingredients that were in my bowl were also “out.” I worked hospitality for 12 years. There is absolutely NO reason to tell a guest you’re out of half your menu at 7:15pm on a Wednesday night AND to act like you couldn’t care less to check on the ingredients you *likely* in the back. If you’re out of a dressing - go make it! It’s your job! If you’re out of ingredients - prep more! It is absolutely unacceptable how many times we were told “actually, we’re out of that too.” I paid almost $30 for a mediocre meal and horrible service.

I went following the lunch rush. It was good, but maybe not as good as it would have been before the lunch rush. It was my first time and I didn't know where plasticware was, or what to do with my garbage. The staff got my meal, asked minimal questions as they prepared my meal.
I sat and ate quietly and didn't bother to ask if there were drink refills.

Customer service is very poor! You’re not acknowledged when entering and the staff is very slow! You can put in an online order and it will still take a long time to get your food.

Went in for DoorDash pick up for an order I placed for myself and the staff alerted me that they didn’t have an order showing, for some reason my DoorDash app defaulted the store location for pick up to their location near uptown and I told them it wouldn’t let me refund unfortunately. Their staff member Holden, a complete legend, didn’t hesitate to offer my order on the house which was super admirable of him. We had a brief and friendly conversation unrelated to this incident afterwards which really made him come off as a genuine person. Definitely coming back to this location.

Was staying at the nearby Hilton during vacation and came here for dinner. They were understaffed, and staff was not only unfriendly but didn't even acknowledge me for minutes on end. One staffer was doing only online orders, one was working in the kitchen and one was serving actual customers in the restaurant. I ordered a wrap, she looked like she didn't know how to make it, then proceeded to overfill it to the extent that it exploded all over the table while I was trying to eat it. This location is really poorly managed. Don't waste your time or money - walk across the parking lot to Cava or Piada instead. Better food and far better service.

Please don't order from this store. They misplace the order and later the store manager does not even acknowledge his mistake and customer feedback. We recently had very bad and ugly experience with this store and manager of the store. They lost us as a customer.
I order 3 bowls but the store only gave us 2 bowls. I couldn't check my order since the bag was closed due to order sticker. When we reached out for complain the phone number routed us to corporate location. AI noted down our complaints but no response since then. We went to store but store manager was rude and didn't even acknowledge the store mistake. The store manager and staff were not co-operative.
Spent money but didn't even get money. Rather than being apologetic the manager was arguing with us.

Had a bad experience of online order placed by their website, the store at Charlotte University did accept our online order and fulfilled only half of it, since it was placed online we assumed all our order was in the togo bag and took it home. We received half order, there is no phone number on the receipt and if you call the customer service it goes on and on and never connect to store, we placed a complaint as per their instructions but no resolution yet,6 days later we tried explaining the situation in the store and they were not accepting it was their fault. The store manager was not even understanding the whole situation. Do not recommend since there are trust issues with their customers.
