I been here a few times but yesterday was my last day. The servers here are so rude and just sangronas. Someone needs to tell them to at least smile and not be rude, people are paying for a good service. Plus the food is not the best. Find somewhere else to go.

Great Colombian restaurant with fantastic food in a casual atmosphere. Everything I have ever had from here has been delicious! I love their empanadas. They are smaller and use corn meal for the crust instead of being more like pie crust as Cuban style empanadas are.
They have a fabulous breakfast menu but I usually go for lunch or dinner. They have daily lunch specials that are listed on the website. These change daily.
If you want to get an overall feel for Colombian food then try the Bendeja Paisa. It has grilled steak, pork, lime, sausage, rice beans, Corncake, sweet, plantains, an egg, and sliced avocado.
All of their Flank Steak and Skirt Steak dishes are fabulous! Two that I really enjoy are Entrana and Carne Encebollada. They have seafood dishes too. Cheers!

Today, I ate at Mi Tierra because I was craving some delicious Latin food. The place is cozy and welcoming, and the food was excellent. I had a breaded milanesa with rice and sweet plantains — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed a freshly baked pan de bono, which was absolutely delicious, and a passion fruit juice that was refreshing and full of taste.
My companion ordered the carne asada with fried yuca, rice, and beans, and he told me he loved every bite.
The only thing I think could be improved is the service — since my companion speaks only English, it would have been nice if the staff could communicate a little in English as well. I understand it’s a Latin restaurant, but being in the United States, it would make the experience even better for non-Spanish speakers. That being said, it didn’t take away from the great food and enjoyable atmosphere.
I would definitely come back for another meal here.

Check your “to go” orders. I got all the way home and found out they gave me the wrong order! I called, they put me on hold and dropped me. I drove back and they replaced my order, but no apology from the manager. He made it seem like it was my fault. He had me waiting until they checked the cameras. Did not offer a return, credit, dessert, anything for my wasted time.
Best Colombian food in Charlotte. The service is always great. Prices are fair, lunch specials are delicious and come out fast. Must try if you like Colombian food.

Headed to shop and Compare foods and saw this place next door. Was happy the breakfast menu is available all day. Everything we had was delicious and I love how they marinated the chicken. Many places dry it out. This was very flavorful. The eggs mixed with tomatoes, green onions and cilantro is a great addition.
Service was good. Jeffery waited on us and was quick to serve. Definitely a gem we'll visit more often!
