Food was not as good as expected. The place was full of locals but it was disappointing to me.

Also the area it is at was very sketchy. I didn’t like the whole experience

Food was delicious! Good service. We went there for lunch. Not that busy, good atmosphere to talk. Restaurant is decorated with pictures from iconic places in Colombia. Waitresses are kind and welcoming 🤗 We loved the bandeja paise and passion fruit juice (smoothie)

Service are ok, but food sucks! Salty and cold, they serve you first the rice and whatever come with the food then 15 minutes later the rest of the food

Pan de bonos should be heated up in a conventional oven; not in a microwave; it makes the texture soggy and nasty. I was told the oven is not working, which I think it’s bs because it’s been months ever since the first time I raised the concern, and there’s no way a restaurant is not gonna have a working oven for so long. They just don’t care 🤷🏻‍♂️ Also, although the food is decent, it doesn’t justify the prices. That’s regular Colombian comfort food but they charge like they’re serving caviar and lobster. Too expensive for just rural dishes.

Ordered the Bandeja paisa and it was excellent! Everything was tasty and good portion size for the price. Last time I came the empanadas were good but this time around they were old and burnt. Maybe just a bad day but overall, great columbian food!

The food was good and brought to out hot and fresh. Decent amount of baked good to choose from.

I've had a hearty breakfast here before (overall good experience, maybe 5 stars on everything), and I decided to try lunch this time (which is what I am posting about now).

The food has good flavor and the atmosphere is different from what's considered normal (in a good way). Our waiter was extremely professional and polite. The prices are reasonable.

On the other side, my food was slightly cold, a big fat fly was bothering us while we ate, and as soon as it was closing time they turned off the music. We were finishing up our meal, but it would have been a better experience if they waited for us to leave to turn off the music. In a way, it seemed like we were getting kicked out.

Horrible food. Even worse service. I do not recommend this place or will never return. Sad I actually gave this place a try based on reviews. I don’t know if it is a different location people are reviewing because this one is not it. Los paisas is the best Colombian in Charlotte. Cali Colombia is a close second. This place shouldn’t even be mentioned. Don’t waste your time or money.
