Our server was Sonny for lunch. He was very friendly and attentive! The food was great and came out hot and quick. Will definitely be back to try more food and the drinks.

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and support a local business. Service initially was great, but then a larger party arrived, and the salads that were supposed to be there before the meal came after the entrees. Two of the three burgers were prepared as ordered, but a well done burger, which was for the birthday man, was cooked rare and he ordered it well done. They fixed it, and he enjoyed it. Once the orders were placed, the wait time for all things was long. One member of our party ordered honey BBQ wings, but he was not pleased with the flavor of the chicken. I had the glazed salmon, and was disappointed in the serving size. I was still hungry when i finished my meal. All things- food, condiments, desert, to go boxes, and the check. During the wait time, I tried to watch the game, but due to the wired thingamagig, I did not have a clear view of the screen. It felt like, they had one cook, one waitress, and one bartender. My daughter was almost in tears because she was hungry, and it took so long for the food to arrive. We will not be back.
Never in my life have I experienced the treatment that I experienced on Friday night. I ordered a vegetable Pizza no olives. I took one bite of the Pizza and noticed that the crust was extra crispy but the vegetables were not cooked. The onions were raw the bell peppers were raw. So I asked for my server to come over and I informed her that this was not something that I thought was tasty and that I wanted to return it. She then informed me that her boss would be over and he would speak with me. He came over and after I explained to him that yes, the crust is done but the inside of the Pizza is not done. Plus there is not a bit of seasoning, no oregano, no Italian seasoning. It just tasted like dough and raw vegetables. He looked at me and said, well, that's how we make our Pizza here and that now you know, the next time you come in not to order it. I asked him, would he be returning this item? He stated, no, you'll still have to pay for this food. After sitting there for an hour and a half waiting on service from the young lady who was not only the bartender, server, and busboy. I then had to pay $27, which included gratuity for a Pizza that I took one bite of because the manager stated He would not let me return the Pizza. He was extremely rude. Extremely distasteful, and I am appalled that when we as black people try to patronize the black businesses, this is the treatment that we receive. Not only will I not be returning to this establishment. I am telling everyone that I know to not go and patronize this business because it is Robbing us of our hard earned money.

The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. I witnessed someone order a drink that wasnât made properly, and instead of offering to fix it, she said she said the drink was fine and âshe knows how to make a margaritaâ She even scolded her staff for offering to fix it. We called her out on her poor customer service and she subsequently told her staff to stop serving us. Apparently sheâs the ownerâs wife, so she has free rein to treat customers with as much disrespect as possible, and I saw her treat others with disrespect and annoyance. Itâs also important to mention that this occurred during an event that had a very black presence. Black folk, letâs take our business to a venue that actually wants us and values us. This ainât it.
