I loved it. We ate at the Ballentine location and had a really nice time. The server was so nice, helped us with the menu. We had not been there before. I love Texas barbecue and she turned us on to some different family-style platters with brisket and ribs and burnt ends…it was great. The atmosphere is mellow and chill with good lighting so you feel like you can just sit down and hang out. There’s a bar with some TVs and sports going on too, so just kind of gives you that good vibe of- hey we’re just relaxed here, chilling out, eating some good barbecue. Look bbq is subjective. I’m from Lexington nc, love that style but also love Eastern nc bbq and have a love of Texas brisket. I was just in TX this summer. This isn’t any of those places BUT, it’s still good bbq right in Charlotte. Give em a visit, relax and enjoy some of their offerings.

Went in for lunch ordered my food. Come out wrong then I had to wait awhile for my order to come out. Then to top it off I asked for a box to go and my server said he’d take care of it no big deal. Check my to go box only two pieces of chicken they threw away my sides. Waste of money

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m actually here right now in Charlotte while writing this review, and once again it’s just perfect! We come here every year, 2–3 times, and all I can say is that it’s the best in town. We never get tired of the amazing taste or the warm, friendly service. We’re Canadians and absolutely love this place. I just wish we lived closer! It’s such a casual and welcoming spot. Being originally from Europe, I always ask for a half portion, and even that is still huge for me but I love it every time!

We love this restaurant! Everything we order is always so delicious! We go at least 3 times a month . Jackie and Kat are always so personable and provide great service ever visit! We love to see them most Saturday nights ! Jack, the manager is so personable and makes sure our experience is top notch !

First time customer. We were at NC Charlotte for a vacation time and we decided to try this place food. Well let us tell you that it was delicious! We had ribs and their famous pork hickory-smoked barbecue bisket with coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Their food is very tasty and the service is very nice and friendly. Recommend! Even our kids enjoyed it!

This is the best darn barbeque I've ever had. Words do not describe how good the food is. THE definition of excellent barbeque food.
I ordered this for coworkers and the next day for myself, it was so good, so quick, and absolutely worth the price. The brisket is incredible with how tender and moist it is. The sides, baked beans, coleslaw, and mac 'n cheese were ones I tried and they were all delicious. The buns that came with were great. The BBQ sauce is perfect: everything is perfect here. My only lament is I've yet to try everything on this menu but I absolutely will.
