Had to shoot down to Charlotte for a work trip, and did about a week of research because I was craving some authentic southern bbq. This spot is IT. First it all; inside is super cool, plenty of seating. I sat and the bar and was served immediately by Matt (ginger kid with the great beard). I got a combo plate of brisket Mac and cheese, collard greens, and it comes with hush puppies. I had no idea what hush puppies were so we chatted about how I’m from the Boston area. Since I wouldn’t be able to frequent this place; he brought me out two burnt ends just to try (and holy $H!T were they unbelievably delicious) but the manager even gave me a little banana pudding for stopping in. Currently pounding this banana pudding like it owes my child support and looking up how much apartments are down here so I can stay and eat here 5 days a week: everything was insanely delicious, service was cool and friendly, atmosphere was nice going solo or with family. 1000/10 stars, highly recommend

One of our go-to places for when we want BBQ. Nice big portions and the ribs are always fall-off-the-bone tender. Collard greens are good as well. Its not going to blow your mind but its always consistently solid and a good staple.

Very good BBQ. The brisket was tender and juicy. The greens were a little too spicy for me but still delicious. The hush puppies were good too. The brunt ends were amazing. The pickles were spicy too but good. I definitely recommend this place if your nor from Charlotte NC.

Roomy place. Clean. Food is very good. Had brisket French fries and broccoli casserole. Fries were hot, thank you. Hate cold fries. Brisket delicious. Not a fan of broccoli casserole but not horrible. Not a huge alcoholic drink menu. Service was friendly professional and quick. A must to try. We'll be back.

Got the smoked meatballs as an app and shared a combo platter (chopped pork, 2xbeef brisket, rack pork ribs with bacon wrapped jalapenos and broccoli casserole. It was soooo good! Service was also fantastic when we went!
