Asked for a high chair by the window, got ignored and seated elsewhere. Tried to order online, waitress got annoyed for no reason. Food took way too long for an airport stop. Cheesesteak was good though — grab it to go instead of dining in.

Walked up to the to go counter. The ladies at the registers were talking together. After about 15 seconds one of them looked at me quickly, then returned to their conversation. After about another 30 seconds of awkwardly standing there, I told him I wouldn’t be ordering. They both yelled at me as I walked down the terminal. Fun times.

I carefully ordered so my bill + tip would be under the $25 threshold that my company requires receipts for, but I was charged $28. Without a receipt I have to mark this as a personal expense and it comes out of my check.

Just left this restaurant in the Charlotte airport. Normally, I don’t get irritated when sitting and not being acknowledged. However, seeing that there were more staff than the 2 other customers in there (see photo) and the bartender sat on her phone and walked away instead of greeting me, I would say pass on this place. I saw servers but none greeted me. I was simply ignored. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 2 decades, so I know it’s basic serving etiquette to make sure your customers are greeted within the first minute if possible. (It also means I tip well.) Eating at the airport is expensive. Why go to a place where they don’t even acknowledge your existence in an empty restaurant?

Stopped here at airport layover. The food did not disappoint. Heavenly, but when you put an old fashion on the drink menu and massacre it then charge 23.00 for a single after telling me it was a double? Shame on you. First you need to learn how to make an old fashion and second someone needs to school you on what a double is. Please people eat there food but don’t get r over the coals for there drinks.

Literally watched our server Lisa serve a total of five tables that were seated after us. Horrible customer service. After waiting over an hour at our table with not even a drink order we appeared the hostess. When the hostess brought it to her attention Lisa gave the hostess trouble attitude. Would not recommend if you have to catch a flight within two hrs. We were moved to a different section and just like that our new server attended to us in mins. As the only ppl of color in the restaurant at the time, I felt that Lisa did not want to service us and am deeply disappointed by my visit here. I haven’t had this cuisine from this company in years and used to love it but my visit from Texas was truly disappointing.

We had a wonderful experience and the food was amazing. Dee was our our server and the manager is on point as well. We also witnessed so many others enjoying their meals. I got the Nachos Libre without meat and a margarita and my honey got the Smokehouse burger. Anytime you come through CLT Douglas please stop by.

This airport Midwoods is the Jack in the Box of Midwoods BBQ. The employees were great, the food is NOTHING like any outside-the-airport Midwoods. Save yourself the disappointment

Great service, but the food was bad. Pork was dry, overcooked, and weirdly incredibly salty. Burnt ends were just fatty globs that had been marinated in sauce. Hush puppies were the best part of the plate. No reason to eat here.

Considering it was about 11:30am, I am positive I was eating at least day old pork. I lived in Eastern NC for six years, and this was a shameful representation of ENC BBQ.

The only thing in the menu worth getting is the loaded fried! Everything else is highly disappointing for the price!! Service is good. Had to find a spot in the airport that actually have people waiting tables
