First time at Mimosa Grill after hearing about the spot. I came at noon for lunch on a Friday and everyone was so nice. The host was very pleasant and helped me connect to the WiFi. My first server (don’t remember her name, just remember she had light brown eyes) was very attentive while I waited for my friend. Eventually our server switched to Steve who was helpful and patient with our multiple questions while we navigated the menu. Will definitely be back.

While the food and food service were decent, the overall experience was disappointing due to unprofessional behavior at the time of seating. We arrived only 5–10 minutes before our reservation, yet were asked to wait after entering, despite the restaurant being largely empty. The staff member at the counter was polite, but another staff member from inside was unnecessarily rude, which left a poor impression and overshadowed what could have been a decent experience.

Went with table of 12. Several order the sirloin steak. So fatty that we didn’t eat half. Fingerlings were cold. Kids had the best menu. Service was good. But so disappointed in my $38 steak. At 6:00 on Friday night we were the only table for awhile. There’s your sign.

A must try Sunday Buffet happens every Sunday at Mimosas on tryon street uptown Charlotte . The have a great combination of quality foods and you never know when they will surprise with tasty oysters or shrimp . This is definitely worth the price . The service was amazing from the hostess Neek to Kaley who is an amazing bartender.

Had reservations for a party of 6 during for lunch on a Tuesday. Seated nearly 20 minutes late of reservation. Atmosphere is a combination of a Ruby Tuesdays and an Embassy Suites and the service was terribly slow. Food was better than expected and most of the table enjoyed the 2 for $20 lunch; just not sure we'd return based on the experience and ambiance.

I was left stunned and speechless as a manager met me at the door of the restaurant, I thought he was kindly coming to open the door for me instead he stopped me and asked if he could help me. I told him that I was coming to sit at the restaurant and even told him my order when he looked at me with a disdainful look. He told me to stand right there outside of the restaurant, in the cold mind you, while he go to get an order that I wasn't given the opportunity to place.
This is not the first time that I've had a bad experience with this restaurant. My first time visiting wasn't a pleasant experience either, which caught the attention of other customers who witnessed how I was being treated. So I returned today hoping to have a better experience but both times I have been met with prejudices.

I eat there every week and the food never disappoints. The daily specials and the 2 for $20 deals can't be beat. Madison always takes great care of us, as do all the servers.
Excellent dining experience. From the moment I arrived they made me feel like I was a VIP guest. I only travel to Charlotte but next time I’m there I will certainly be back.
