I was left stunned and speechless as a manager met me at the door of the restaurant, I thought he was kindly coming to open the door for me instead he stopped me and asked if he could help me. I told him that I was coming to sit at the restaurant and even told him my order when he looked at me with a disdainful look. He told me to stand right there outside of the restaurant, in the cold mind you, while he go to get an order that I wasn't given the opportunity to place.

This is not the first time that I've had a bad experience with this restaurant. My first time visiting wasn't a pleasant experience either, which caught the attention of other customers who witnessed how I was being treated. So I returned today hoping to have a better experience but both times I have been met with prejudices.

I eat there every week and the food never disappoints. The daily specials and the 2 for $20 deals can't be beat. Madison always takes great care of us, as do all the servers.

Excellent dining experience. From the moment I arrived they made me feel like I was a VIP guest. I only travel to Charlotte but next time I’m there I will certainly be back.

Saturday brunch was good. They had a variety of foods for a decent price. The mimosas were great.

I went with my girlfriend the other day and I was just surprised by how rude the customer service was. It took them 20 minutes to bring us our drinks and when our food finally arrived, it was under seasoned and inedible to my liking. Overall my experience was horrible and would NOT recommend.

Mimosa Grill in Uptown Charlotte sounds like a breakfast / brunch spot but I actually came out here for dinner with our business partners. It accommodated our large party and we were seated in a rather spacious area.

The service we received from our server was excellent. She brought out all the appetizers and entrees we ordered, as well as the bottles of red and white wines including some fancy cocktails.

I stuck with a simple dish of meat and potatoes but envied the “prettier” dishes my colleagues ordered. While the presentation of my dish was lacking, the flavor was good. Texturally, the meat was a tad bit overcooked for my liking. I did enjoy the olive oil cake for dessert. And the smoked fish dip was okay.

The ambiance is what makes this restaurant a favorite. The building outside of Mimosa Grill was beautiful walking in but even more gorgeous at night with the dark skies and bright lights from the building.

Overall, Mimosa Grill was able to cater to our large group while providing excellent service. I had a wonderful experience thanks to our server!

Interesting menu, looks like it’s basically brunch for lunch. Food was really good as was the service. Great location and fair prices.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The only complaint is that you can't really substitute the sides with an entree which is a problem if your have eating restrictions.
