Went to Moon for the first time during the queens feast and our experience was amazing: the food was phenomenal, our server was a gem, and the sake we tried at the recommendation of our server was exactly what we had described looking for. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to Asian cuisine being from California and moving to a city like Charlotte that seems to lack good Asian restaurants, but Moon truly blew me away. The gyoza, pork dumplings, sushi, duck panang curry, and pad Thai were genuinely all delicious. I cannot wait to go back!! Going to bring my equally snobby parents when they visit from California in a few weeks. The best Asian food I’ve had in Charlotte by far, and a top 5 meal for us here in general. 12/10.

We had the sweet and sour chicken, the red curry and the spicy tuna roll. All were perfect and our waitress Emma was amazing, very clean and friendly. Our glass was never empty and our tables were never cluttered. Food came out quickly and the portions were much larger than shown on the menu. We will be back.

Good sushi and Thai, Chinese dishes. Nice ambiance, quiet for good discussion. I would recommend to the establishment to carry authentic chili oil not the one they currently call it to be.

I have come here several times because I love the food and the service has always been pretty decent. I have brought numerous friends and they love this restaurant and they keep coming back. So it was super disappointing to come for Father's Day with my friends we made a reservation for 6 PM. We walked in and it was pretty empty. There were only 5-6 tables max.   after ordering it took about  20 minutes for our soup to come out. Our drinks and cocktails never arrived. There were three of us only two entrées came out and one sushi order. The third entry entry never came out. Our waitress didn't even bring out our food. It was another server who brought out our food. Our waitress never came back after we placed our order to check in on us. Ask us how our food was.  we had to get up and ask the manager or someone for help because the third entrée never arrived, our drinks never arrived. My food was prepared incorrectly, and was way too spicy, which I cannot have because of my diet, but I ate it anyways cause we were starving.  we ran out of water and never received a refill. The waitress finally came over and apologized and blamed it on being short staffed, even though there were more waitresses and there were tables. It finally was starting to get a little busier in there. The manager came over to apologize, but did nothing to rectify the situation except for take the items we never received off our bill. We asked for a refill on our water in which we had to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes. The manager never even brought us refills for our water. We had to ask again. Then we had to wait forever for our bill to get checked out.  this was the worst experience I have ever had here. I believe it was mostly due to the waitress, however, the manager did nothing to rectify the situation and didn't help. My two friends that I had brought were appalled. Not sure I will return.

Very friendly, upbeat venue with excellent food and service. Alana was attentive and fun. She helped create a relaxed atmosphere and helped us feel like our selections were right for us. They were. The otoro tuna was amazing and the crispy duck was delicious and plentiful.

Food was great! Service impeccable ! We sat outside because the weather permitted I got the Thai Hurricane snapper , Tuna over crispy rice, and my friends got two sushi rolls ! All plates CLEARED! Love this place !

Wow factor!! Every single employee we came across was super friendly and welcoming. We felt like VIP's walking into the restaurant. The aesthetic was very zen! Loved the decor and lighting. Soooo many choices for Thai & Japanese cuisine! We sampled from both menus! The sushi presentation was absolutely amazing and delicious! The Thai was very tasty too! I loved my cocktail! Sunrise was the name. Our server was very helpful in suggesting choices! When we were leaving we were treated with the same warmth as when we arrived! Kudos to an over all amazing experience! We will be back!

Everything about our experience was great, except light and noise carryover from adjacent tables. We had older family members who had a difficult time reading the menu because light was over one seat out of four rather than the center of the table. We could hear each other fine in conversation at our table, but we could also hear the guy at the table behind us cursing and then a large birthday party sat down and the noise was too loud for us to have comfortable conversation. Overall, both of these things were very minor and in general we had a very nice evening.
