We needed a quick place to eat and found this place to be the perfect warm spot. Very friendly staff. Great food choices. Great prices and love the decor. But the commitment to old fashioned service and values stood out above the rest.

Went here after a concert with another couple. Ordered two drinks a nacho , some tenders and a chicken parm. Note there was no waitress, you order at the bar. Food was average, but that is not the reason for the review. Closed the tab, wrote in a tip , signed the receipt and left. Noticed the next day they added a tip on top of the tip I had already left. Bill was $60 , total tip was $26. Unreal. What the bartender did was purposely close the bill in such a way that it showed like I hadn't closed my bill but instead left, in turn creating the automatic 20% gratuity. A disingenuous practice and they should be embarrassed for taking advantage of their customers.

This place was perfect. Sammy was very attentive and recognized us. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were fairly priced.

We had the BEST time at Mortemiers before the Duke Mayo Bowl. We had a large group of WVU and UNC fans, and we had great food, drinks, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I can’t say enough about the staff and a big shout out to Sammie for being awesome!
