The service was great! Our starters arrived quickly and was delicious. We had oyster Rockefeller and crab cakes. For my entree I had the Christopher chicken and my sisters had lobster ravioli and steak. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and the food.

I would like to thank Morton’s Steakhouse-Charlotte for making our anniversary such a memorable occasion! I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine, service, and ambiance! The waitress was phenomenal with her menu recommendations and was such a delight (as were the servers). Everything from entrance to exit was amazing! It is almost a month later, and thinking about our anniversary dinner makes me so proud to have someone who cares about the small details. Thanks again for making the small details such a BIG DEAL.

Food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered some meatballs, Brussel sprouts, and the wagyu filet medium and it came out looking pretty rare. Everything was great except the steak. You'd think a place like this would have temps down. I dont think they gave me wagyu either, there was no fat marbling on the steak. On the other hand Natalie the bartender was fantastic. She did everything right but the food was just mediocre for the prices.

Bad experience. Bad service. Live in the building next door. Went to Mortens for first time yesterday. Sat at bar for over 20 minutes and was never even greeted. The place was almost empty accept for bar area. Bartenders looked unorganized and frantic. I was going to have one drink and close out but left before I ever got served.

My mom and I came here prior to going to see Wicked a few weeks ago. When we arrived we were told there was a wait for our table that we had reserved, which was fine as we assumed they were getting it situated. We waited at the bar. The bartender was patient while we figured out what to order; HIGHLY recommend the lavender cosmo.

Now, when we were told our table was ready we had a problem: walking and martini glasses are not a great combo. Initially, the hostess didn’t understand having someone bring our drinks to the table, but once we were handed off to a different host he handled our drink with ease.

So, why is my rating for service four stars? That comes down to our waitress. She was very nice but the service was lacking. It took awhile for her to check in for ordering our food and for receiving our check. In her defense, I think she had a large table she was managing with BUT she wore her stress on her sleeve.

In terms of atmosphere, the dress code is supposed to be business casual or smart casual attire. This dress code was…not enforced with several people in shorts, t-shirts, and hats.

Lastly the food: we got the wagyu filets with asparagus and fries. I’m not sure if this was our waitresses fault or whoever plated our dish but the steak was luke warm to room temperature. I love a good steak but for the price I was a bit disappointed.

I’ll likely give this place another shot at some point, but as it stands right now likely wont be going back any time soon.

Great place to eat before or after a show at the Belk theater. Delicious! Perfectly cooked steak. We also enjoyed the Gouda cheesy potatoes and spicy broccoli. The staff was great, our waiter Jason was very friendly and helpful. He suggested the pink Cosmo for breast cancer month, it was refreshing and the proceeds went to breast cancer society. Will definitely return when we attend another show.

It was a very quiet night staff was excellent the filet mignon wasn't the greatest it was very good ..The cream spinach was like soup and the price for a baked potato was a little crazy ..I have gone there in the past but after last night I would probably not go again the value is just zero ..

We ate at Morton’s Charlotte for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Our servers Sarah and Jason were outstanding! A fun evening with great memories. Thanks!

This was our second time going here. We came last year for our anniversary and this year for my wifes birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Jessica was our server, and I will say this...she was absolutely perfect. Her recommendations, her energy, and her overall demeanor were top notch. The food didn't disappoint. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The oysters were out of this world. We will make it our business to go to Mortons more often. 10 out of 10 experience.

From the very moment we walked through the doors at Morton’s, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The greeter, Lucy, set the tone right away—warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. That kind of first impression is what makes fine dining feel truly special.

Manager David made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the evening, embodying exactly what you expect from a fine dining establishment: professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for the guest experience.

Our server, Chris, was absolutely on point—knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and always one step ahead of what we needed. From start to finish, the service was seamless and elevated the entire dining experience.

When you go to Morton’s, you expect fine dining and fine service—and that’s exactly what we received. A memorable night made even better by a team who clearly takes pride in what they do!
