The best chicken snack (3 pieces of chicken and four large potatoes wedges with a dinner roll) for under $7 The chicken was homestyle fried seasoned and the large wedges were tasty too.

Food was great light skin lady with the freckles have a attitude problem. We didn't have a issue but she was just rude and stale. Luke she didn't want to be there. I'll think twice about coming here again.

This is hands down the best chicken I’ve had in a while. Swung by for some gas and grabbed a chicken leg. Ate it while filling up. Went back in for two thighs because it was so good.Will be back as they are 8 min away from my place.

Everything was really good. I had fried fish, croaker. The collards and potatoe salad.the fish was Not greasy at all. I went around 9 or so, was a nice crowd. The bar was full, and take out was quick!!! Even with the crowd. People were eating and looked happy with the orders. I was visiting from texas, I would go again and try other stuff on the menu.

Y'all know I love a good hidden gem, and this is one of them. Tucked away in the VALUE MART, you will find Mister Charles Chicken and Fish. You may recognize thee name as they have multiple locations around the city, typically with a long line. The great news is this location is all the awesome taste you expect from the other locations, but minus the wait.The atmosphere is nothing glamorous. Let's face it, it's carryout only, so no seating, and it's in a gas station, BUT the food is amazing, the price is low for the quality, and the service was super nice and helpful!I got the 2 piece with potato wedges ($5) and the flounder sandwich ($6, sorry I at half before taking the pic). Both of which were fantastic and I will be coming back for sure.
