Mr Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

While picking up my dinner I noticed and felt the environment was tense. I dont have any proof but it felt like the staff had underlining drama amongst each other. The lady that handed my boyfriend the food said that he looked like a disappointed dad. That comment wasn't taken well by my boyfriend or me.
If the food is good, we'll place delivery rather than visiting again.

Good food. Be careful if you are allergic. They don't really take into consideration people may have food allergies. Some of the rolls were cross contaminated with avocado. That could have landed me in the hospital.

Never ever again.I really like this place and have been here several times. Normally, the food is great, but tonight’s experience was completely different, and not in a good way.

When we arrived, my godchild went in first and was told we couldn’t be accommodated. I walked in to ask myself, and there were empty tables in the back of the restaurant . Yes, it was busy, but in the back there was nobody sitting there, and there were a lot of unused tables. The rude manager at the front, Daniela, was dismissive, talked over me, and told us again we couldn’t be accommodated, even though we have come at later times before without an issue. There were also parties before us, but what does that have to do with us?

If you are going to close earlier than your posted hours and not alert people, say that. Where does it say you won’t be accommodated due to certain parties before you? , don’t put a close date or close time that you don’t actually honor. I made the trip all the way from Houston to eat here and left without even being served. It is clear they didn’t care, and after tonight, I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.

It's the best food since I moved down here from Arizona, I pray they stay open as long as I live , I always get the hibachi rice vegetables shrimp steak and chicken and their signature white sauce

To go waiter was polite. Food was good. But there were only two mushrooms (literally) in my vegetables and I love mushrooms so I missed them. The tails were also left on my shrimp in my Hibachi Shrimp entree. Pretty inconvenient to have to eat food with your hands when you don't want to. And for some reason my seaweed salad had lettuce at the bottom. Maybe it was for garnish. Overall though, it was good.

They get busy at lunch but it is worth the wait. All you can eat sushi is what I go for. They are quick and fresh. They do offer Togo as well which is decently priced.

The best sushi, fresh and all you can eat. Made to order, not buffet. Only $15 lunch. That price also includes appetizers, salads, teriyaki, hibachi, nigiri, classic rolls and chef special rolls.
