The chicken fries are bomb, I send my man here at least 3x a week for this 🙂↕️
My go to spot in the French Quarters!
They have revamped and it's now more like a bar. Menu changed to barely nothing and this was a staple place for a great authentic meal with fresh food and a vegetarian option which they have taken away.
Very disappointed!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CHANGES and now I don't have a favorite alley spot to bring people.
Decent ambience, nice drinks! Service was excellent as well! Love the shrimp tacos, loaded nachos but not a fan of their lamb tacos.
Wouldn’t suggest going in very late at night, as the street gets unsafe with weird crowd.
They have changed the tacos and it's not for the better. They are $8 per taco, yes you get a bigger taco but the taste is nothing compared to the tacos they had before they shut down and remodeled. I am so disappointed. Y'all had the best tacos in Charlotte. Me and my boyfriend waited weeks for y'all to open back up. What happened? Why did y'all change the tacos? They are not good now. I need y'all to go back to making them like you used to and bring the shredded chicken taco back! Please when you go back to the way you made them before then they will be worth the $8 per taco, then I will come back!
went to this restaurant and ordered margaritas/tacos under the impression that it was discounted. after myself and my friend had already consumed our beverages and food we were told that the discount actually did not apply. after much back and forth with the manager we were told the best we can get is a 10 percent discount. i would not recommend coming here
SpongeBob was on the TV, 10/10
Shrimp tacos, chicken quesadilla, and the chips and salsa were all fantastic.
Food was pretty good and have good lunch deals. but $16 for a house margarita is insane. How is it $3 for Thursday but normal is 16...? Could be a very good place if they had decent pricing
I wasn't expecting much, but the food here is really good, and it's a great little bar and restaurant. Sit at tables or at the bar, Mexican beer on tap, and tacos, burritos, quesadillas and even birria on the menu. Inexpensive, cheerful, and the kitchen is open late, which is super convenient on weekdays.
Came in for dinner and everything was amazing. Had tacos and empanadas and they were so delicious.

Hands down best authentic tacos in Charlotte! Check em out!
Food was great, Al pastor tacos were incredible. Unfortunately, after closing out our $150 bill we exited and the owner immediately came and yelled at us to “clear the entrance,” which for the record was a small door next to two large 7 foot entrances. We tried to move and he kept smiling, nodding, and passively aggressively yelling that we’re still blocking the entrance.
It was a Charlotte FC pregame and we had trouble moving quickly due to the crowd and one of our party’s mobility problem. The manager stood guard and stared us down as we tried to leave the area.
Grow up.
Amazing steak tacos and steak quesadillas. Trés Léches for dessert and of course a couple of drinks from the bar. Great service and conversations with other patrons. They even offer Hookah rentals if you’re into that. Great experience!
I had a whole detailed review typed out and everything. I set my phone down and it locked. When I unlocked, the review was gone. Here is the gist below.
