I ordered a cold brew with some flavoring and cream, but was surprised to get nitro cold brew instead, which tasted awful. I really hate to be that person to reorder a drink or ask for something different, but what I ordered was $7 and it felt like a waste. I asked the same barista if I could order something different, and was charged the full amount and was not asked if there was anything wrong with my drink, etc. I was fully expecting to pay for another drink, but for ordering such an expensive drink previously, frankly I was surprised they did not just remake something without charging me again. As someone who has been a barista and customer for several years, this was a really disappointing experience.

Love that place, delicious coffee and food. My only thing is the events that are happening a lot lately and take up the whole place like there’s no seatings. I like board games, but every Saturday all tables are reserved by a group of gamers and you can’t sit in there. I just wanted to address that

Mugs Coffee is an absolute gem! I stopped by before work, and from the moment I walked in, the welcoming vibe set the tone for a great morning. The host greeted me with a warm smile, making me feel like a regular. I tried their Bonfire Latte, and it was incredible—rich, slightly smoky, with just the right hint of sweetness. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into their flavors. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a mix of cozy seating and ambient lighting, making it perfect for unwinding or even getting a bit of work done. I’ll definitely be going back!

Mugs is a fantastic neighborhood coffee spot. Parking is reasonable, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of seating, making it a great place to enjoy your coffee in a relaxed, not-too-noisy environment. Most importantly, the coffee is solid and made with care! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a local café with a chill vibe.
