Nakato Japanese Steakhouse

I would give 0 stars if I could. 0% recommend ordering pickup from here or coming here in general. I was passing through, as I live 3 hours away. I ordered a shrimp and teriyaki chicken hibachi combination plate online and they gave me the wrong order. When I called they told me I couldn't get a refund unless I came all the way there and brought the food back. I offered to send them a picture but they refused to correct THEIR mistake, therefore I lost my money while trying to support their business. The restaurant manager as well as the employees lack basic customer service skills. This is the LAST place you should visit.

The service was great. We went there for my birthday and they took a picture and printed for us and put it in a nice paper frame.

The food was good and the chef was nice. They actually seasoned the food so it was great.

The waitress was polite, friendly and efficient.

There is plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant.

Horrible service, came here with my man, and got rushed to order not even a minute after we sat down, then the lady proceeded to look at us with snarky looks. Will never be back here. Horrible place and horrible service. Go anywhere else other than these judgy people. Spent $100 to have my night ruined. Never again

The waitress forged my signature and added more tip to my credit card. I called the restaurant manager, Chris and he assured me that he would be refunding my money back on my credit card. Instead of refunding my money, he charged my credit card again for $158.45. I called him back and he said he only applied a refund on my credit card and I should contact my bank. Well the bank issued a dispute awaiting an investigation. The picture shows 2 charges for the same meal. To add to it I have taken a picture of the receipt before I left the restaurant and I have it should you need it. Just remember Pictures Don’t lie. The manager didn’t even attempt to delete the first charge of $168.45 and on top of that charged my credit card on 10/23/24 $158.45. He made another charge of $158.45 on 10/27/24. I got pictures of all these charges and my credit card bank deemed the card compromised and advised to close it. You can call me SAM by the way.

Service and food was great but hibachi chef was flirting with my wife in their native language (Spanish) and he was asking her how old she was, if my daughter was her sister and telling her how young she was. Asking if I’m her husband and if I am why I don’t speak Spanish. Very unhappy with that!!! I was trying to ignore it but even my kids mentioned it. Spent $250 on my birthday and will never forget that night!!! Don’t take your wife and kids here.
