A little pricey but it's worth it!

They don't take Apple Pay even though it say they do online....I mostly pay for everything with Apple Pay so this might deter me a little from coming back here....Food is good but a little on the pricey side.

Friendly place and can get very loud at the Hibachi tables. Its a bit dark inside. Great fun with a group.

Nakato is old school Hibachi with the chefs that perform while they cook. It's pricey, but it's a lot of food, regardless of which protein you pick. A couple could order one Hibachi entree, add an additional protein, salad and/or soup and have more than enough food. Great for a date night, because you don't feel like you have to fill any awkward silences.

You know, we took my mom over the weekend for Mothers day and the food is still great, but good lord the pricing has gotten ridiculous. We have gone as a family for the last 14 years, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year and from what it use to cost us to what it cost us now is roughly a 363% increase compared to what we use to pay. I get the price of things has increased but the national average for dining out has increased in the last 10 years is around 50%, so this is 310% above the national average and the cost of food has only increased 30% to 40% in the last 10 years so they have a 300% markup. Great food, but it just isn't worth the price anymore to go here. It has been great but with the price of everything else it is no longer worth the price.

Absolutely digusting, no flavor whatsoever! The portions are way smaller than your average Japanese place!

Nakatos has gone downhill over the years. The food was extremely salty and made me sick afterwards. The host was also quite rude and seemed upset that we came in without a reservation despite the restaurant being dead. I wouldn't recommend it if you want a quality meal. You're better off going up the street to Carolina Place and getting Sakura in the food court.
