Me and my Husband went there yesterday. It was our one year Anniversary. Our first time there. The food was great I couldn't even eat all of it. The workers was very nice and spoke to the guess. They worked together. I would go back definitely.
Excellent food and the service was superb!!! I will be coming back!!!
Just outstanding!! Delicious fried chicken & perfectly cooked collards & veggies. Despite ample portions, we shared banana pudding AND melt-in-your-mouth double chocolate cake. Fantastic all around, WELL DONE
Run away from this place. While they may have good food, the attitude of the owner (Mrs.) is TERRIBLE. I would definitely think twice and three times before spending my hard earned money here.
great portion sizes. good food.
Visited the Cary, NC location today and highly recommend!! Service was fast, menu had many choices and food was so so delicious!!! The owner checked in on us and thanked us for coming. This is a family owned business doing amazing work and serving tasty food. Please support them if you are in the mood for some home cooking.
As a Charlotte outsider from the Midwest, this was life changing. Also never met such friendly of people before. Might fly back just for this!
The food and service is amazing. Best soul food in the triangle.
Hot, fresh, very flavorful. I had the catfish, mac and cheese, and collards tried the Pintos and Yams from hubby's plate. All very yummy.

RUN, DO NOT WALK, RUN to get a plate. I am from Savannah Ga and know soul food. I am a huge collard green critique and I cannot say enough positive things about this food. The restaurant is clean, the servers have smiles, the health score is in the 90's, and it is an understatement to say the food is good. I got the veggie tray to just test out the sides ( collards, yams, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese) and everything tasted like my grandma was cooking in the back. I cannot wait to go back. Heck I may go back today.

Food was delicious, but as others have stated pretty up there in pricing. A large with an extra side and a drink was over $40 for 1 person, but the food was very tasty.
It was my first time here, and I say 3 ? service & food were good

Oct 12 - I got the small plate. Curry Chicken, Mac & Cheese and Stuffing. The stuffing wasn’t good…. The Mac & Cheese was the best thing on my plate. Oh and Sweet Tea was good. I was a lil disappointed overall. ??♂️

First time here and I was very impressed with the food. I got the baked chicken with lima beans and Cole Slaw. The whole experience was great.

Very good food. I had the meat and 2 with fried chicken with Mac n cheese and cucumber salad. All were excellent. But I had a bit of sticker shock when going to pay. The last time I went to a meat and 3 was about 10-12 years ago when they were still meat and 3s vs meat and 2 or 2 meats and 2s. Unless I'm totally off, I remember it being $7 or $9 if u wanted 2 meats. Here its $16 and $26. It's a nice treat, but I was thinking comfort soul food should be more of a any day thing vs a fancy like restaurant ? like Applebee's.
